    It took me two attempts to properly seat the cartridge. Likely, my fault. Use a large container to expel air from water line. Also, discard the first two ice batches.

    Not easy to open the areas to install them. We had the Geek Squaed out here for another problem and they helped open the areas.

    Bought filter for lg frig. Have always bought original equipment filters from BB and never had a problem. Install was a bit more difficult that past filters. When comparing old filter to new filter, design was a bit different. The new filter was more difficult to seat in the system. Attempted several times to have it seated properly. After it was replaced it began to leak. Ended up purchasing another filter from another store. This one worked fine.

    Every six months I update the filter on my LG Fridge. It is worth it since we have well water. Though when you change this filter, you have to take everything off the top shelf and remove the shelf.

    This is a great filter! I can tell you it does a great job filtering our drinking water every day. It's a pain to install, but once it's in it works like magic filtering our water every day for the next six months.

    Recommend using oem filters. Have used off brand and the water doesn’t flow as easily. Seems like there is more stuff blocking the flow to filter out particles
