I attempted to order online, but had difficulty finding the exact filter it came with. Chatted & they found one. I installed it, yet the prompt kept flashing to replace. Chatted again, & they told me it was the wrong one. So I re-ordered, went into the store, & explained, & they said it WAS the correct filter, & said to hold down the prompt for 3 seconds. Now how would the cashier know that & not the Geek professional chat person I waited to be connected with? Anyway, it was a wild goose chase that turned out to be expensive. The filter itself is spendy! Wasn't happy!

If you haven't already, we recommend contacting Best Buy customer service at 888-237-8289 for potential solutions.
One helpful step you can try is to inspect the filter housing inside your refrigerator to ensure no part of the previous filter cap remains inside the compartment. If a cap from the old filter is still attached to the housing, the new filter may appear incomplete or “used” when it actually needs the existing cap removed before installation.
