Mad Max FR is nonstop craziness from beginning to end! Yes they drive a lot and yes lots of violence, but that's not why it's so great. The cinematography, color scheme is amazingly beautiful. Plus, most of the effects are real, very little CG. The plot is basic but makes little to no sense the last half. All in all a great popcorn movie. So sit back, crank your surround sound to 11 and prepare for some vehicular carnage.

I bought this because it was recommended by a friend and having never seen it before I was blown away! First of all, the movie itself is friggin' awesome. Second, the visuals are incredible. Third, the audio is divine. The Dolby Atmos soundtrack makes me want/need rear presence speakers. this is my "go-to" to demonstrate Atmos to people. Buy this movie! I wish I had a 4K player and the 4K version of this...

A thrill ride to say the least. The movie is a giant chase from the beginning to the end. It's full of action and absolutely outstanding stunts. Watch if you like great car combat. If you liked the older Mad Max films you will love this movie. Tom Hardy is great as the quiet but dangerous Max. Charlize Theron shines as Furiosa. As for the Blu-ray, the picture and sound are top notch, pretty much demo quality material.

Admittedly went in with low expectations on this film, but it hit it out of the park in so many ways, both visually and story-telling wise. There simply isn't any other film to compare it to, except as a souped-up version of previous installments. A bit of a throwback, too, where the hero doesn't necessarily have many lines in the movie, and that is saying something considering the caliber of actor in the main role.

It's been a while since I saw the original Mad Max, but after seeing Mad Max: Furry Road, I wanted to go watch the first two moves! Also I realy enjoy the soundtrack, it's great to see soundtracks like this one because it inspires me as a Movie Director and as the founding member in my band. I look forward to the day I can film my own version of a Max Max style of film.

I don't know how they did it but somehow they made a movie that is almost entirely action and didn't bore me for one minute. The entire movie seemed like a tense chase or fight scene was happening. Plot isn't the greatest but this isn't meant to be a thinking kind of movie. Sit back and white knuckle it in your chair while things blow up and people get kicked off of movie cars.

Nonstop action, inventive remake! When I first heard about the remake, I did'nt think it could be better, but although it bears the same title, this is a completely different take on the character while still remaining true to the original. It's a wonderful introduction to a new audience, and at the same time reinvigorates an icon to the old fans. Director George Miller makes lightning strike twice!

So excited that this film is now out...and that HD technology is where it is so this film can be as beautiful as possible. It's an incredibly taut plot with tense action that you can't believe as you're watching. A visually stunning, flawless adventure. I hope this means that Miller will be doing more Mad Max and cultivating his filmmaking crew to continue on and bring us inventive Mad Max films into perpetuity!

There are good action movies and then there are great action movies that push the boundaries as to what an action movie can be. Mad Max: Fury Road is the latter. While it's a disservice not to witness this incredible action spectacle on the big screen, the hi-def crystal clear blu-ray presentation is the next best thing. This is a must have addition to any movie collection; action lovers and film buffs alike.

Such a great movie. Hard to believe they used very little CHI and performed a lot of practical effects to make this movie. Really great background when you look into how they did it. This movie pushed me to buy the old Mad Max movies and complete the collection.

This is one of those kinds of movies where I prefer the Blu-ray over the 4K Ultra HD for the following reasons: 1. CGI looks more CGIish in 4K. CGI Looks better on Blu-ray. 2. The Blu-ray has a Dolby Atmos track (same as 4K). 3. It was $20 cheaper than the 4K.

Coming from someone who has seen all of the Mad Max films, I can honestly say, in my opinion, that Fury Road is the best in the franchise. The action is well choreographed and never lets up, the characters are very interesting, and while the plot seems to take a backseat to the action, there's still enough of it there to be enjoyable and spark conversation after the credits roll. I highly recommend this film.

Originally saw this on HBO. Jumped in somewhere near the beginning and could not stop watching. You do not need to be familiar with the previous movies, I was not, to understand what is happening. This Blu-ray is good with a solid amount of special features.

I was cautiously optimistic when I checked out Fury Road on opening night at the theater, but nothing could have prepared me for the creativity and insanity that I was about the enjoy. I grew up watching the Road Warrior, and Fury Road represents a dramatic enhancement of everything that classic. There are jaw dropping visuals, ridiculous stunts and actions scenes, and it makes you think as well.

This film is great on so many levels. 1. It has a strong female lead that defies all the stereotypical Hollywood damsel in distress tropes. 2. The majority of the special effects were done practically with CGI only being used to enhance the look. The result is some of the best VFX work in decades. 3. It's overall fun, action packed, great acting, and great story telling.

I bought this movie not long ago to trial out my just installed Dolby Atmos Surround Sound system and 75 in OLED tv. I was not disappointed. Flawless and breathtaking. The colors are so vivid and the sounds just bounce around the room and above your head. The story was pretty good but the visuals are what really bring your entertainment system to life.

Apparently, George Miller wanted to make this in 3D but couldn't get the budget to shoot it the way he would have wanted. He shot the movie in a way that even postconverted 3D makes it look amazing. It's fantastic, this just enhances a fantastic movie. Not a required way to watch it, but it won't disappoint.

Ok let me begin by saying im very partial to the mad max series.i grew up with it as a fav and even have the same kind of dog as in the road warrior for a pet.needless to say I was ready for this movie..although it had a lot to live up to it was a worthy entry to the series.it is some of the most intense insane action imaginable.if your a car guy a action guy or like hot women this movie can do no wrong!!

I was really looking forward to this movie and I wasn't disappointed! Loved the new storyline and the actors are marvelous. It only gets better each time we watch it. So far it's been 4 times! I actually bought it as a present for my husband. He was delighted! He said he really wanted to see it so I bought it as a surprise for him. I ordered it the day it came out at Best Buy! Get it! You will love it!

When I heard they were making this movie, I assumed it would be another trashy reboot, exploiting the franchise. The original Mad Max was my second R Rated movie-- I was 10 years old when it came out. I had high expectations for this movie, and I was honestly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. I literally bought the blu ray the first chance I had after watching it!
