I have been waiting to get this on 4k for a long time. this is considered one of the greatest 4k releases both audio and visually. there are so many chapters that could be used to show off your system. this movie is a must have reference level disc for any audio/visual aficionado.

This is THE single most impressive sound design I've experienced. This film justifies Dolby Atmos, huge subwoofers, and Large screens (projectors!). I regret not seeing this in the theater, but the at home Atmos experience is a must-hear/see. I've used this as a demo for everyone that steps foot in my house. Its a fun movie too, a non-stop action ride. It even makes me forget about mad max 3....

Everything about this movie was amazing. Visually it is breath taking and the action will keep you on the edge of your seat throughout the entire film. Tom Hardy does a great job, but the stand out performance came from Charlize Theron who definitely had the wow factor from the very beginning. A great film overall and I am really excited to see what the future holds for Mad Max on the Fury Road.

I could easily make this review on word: Wow. I'm a novice in the world of Mad Max and still just the identity and look of this film is so fleshed out. Visually stunning, interesting and well done. I was actually afraid of it being too over the top and it really wasn't that. This movie just pretty much does what it's supposed to do... and that's not a bad thing. One other thing I will say though is that you're doing this movie a disservice without a good TV and sound system. The bluray picture and sound is definitely a factor with this movie.

I recently played the 4K HDR version of Mad Max: Fury Road on my new SONY 75" 4K Model XBR-75X940E TV. This movie in 4K HDR is mind-blowing. Not only is the action truly amazing and non-stop, the 4K HDR images were outstanding and so incredibly realistic that it felt like we were part of the action taking place in my media room. This was a 10* experience.

Great story line, eye-popping stunts, great visuals and action packed from start to finish, you can't go wrong if your looking for a well-acted and supremely crafted movie! This isn't your daddy's Mad Max! No wonder end-of-year awards are proclaiming this one of the best pictures of the year! It earned it and you will earn a great way to enjoy a couple hours of your time picking this movie.

I finally saw this at theater and understood why it was so great. I had the same experience as Star Wars when it first released - we thought for SW the title sounded stupid and had a blast when we saw it. In case of Max, not a fan of the originals, but kept seeing high marks. So I saw it - this is absolutely non-stop thrill ride. Movie quality on disc is as packed with excitement as theater.

George Miller's classic revisited and re-envisioned with a "fresh coat of paint" most definitely breaths life into this franchise and gives it legs to take off and never stop. Charlize Theron was amazing in this film as Furiosa and could very well even take over if they ever did a sequel. As is, this stunning film looks divine on this 4K UHD transfer!

Whoa!!! I... can't describe it in words. But wow this movie totally blew my mind away. At first I was not expecting for it to be this good. I had such a wonderful time being captivated into it that it does not disappoint in either way. I mean what more could you want from this movie?

We did not need another Mad Max movie but we got one anyway and it is GLORIOUS. Please know that this movie is first and foremost an action movie and it is the best action movie of all time. All the action sequences looks and feels true-to-life and not a CG effect. It is mesmerizing to a point of it almost being a religious experience. That sounds like really high praise, yeah? Yeah!

I got the blu ray for the quality and this is one in Dolby Atmos. The sound is excellent. I wished they were making more movies in Atmos because it outstanding characteristics. The plot is fast paced and it is hard to believe that it is Cherlize Therone beneath all that makeup and garb! She does a great gritty role adding to other great roles. Buy it to complete your Max collection

Watched it while in theaters and loved it, the blu ray is great audio and video quality, I was actually able to hear some of Max's dialogue that I wasn't able to in theaters. Best action movie I've seen in years, great acting and story telling. Not every story is told through spoken dialog, but through action and imagery. Can't wait to see what comes from the next two planned movies!

A lot of friends told me how good it was and I should see it. I was hesitant because I grew up with Gibson being Mad Max but I thought I would give it a try. WOW! I was blown away by this movie! The story, actors, stunts, SFX, and the cinematography are perfect. Director George Miller waited over 30 years to make a masterpiece that puts all the action movies since The Matrix to shame.

Few movies grab attention and hold it such as this. From the cinematography, to the story structure, to the effects, every bit is wrapped up in a high octane package, coated with gas, set ablaze, and then kicked into your face. The moment the credits began to roll I wanted to start it from the beginning. There have been 5 movies in my history of viewing films that I can say that about.

This is a thriller/scary/action and adventure movie. A great movie for a weekend movie night. Beautiful story line, great screenplay, Maybe not a movie for everyone but a movie to add your collection. A stunning blu ray picture shot in the desert. Also a great price not to miss.

Long wait yields the peak of MadMax verse film-making. News arrives that Furiosa's prequel is in development and rewatching this shows that that development has immense potential. Great steelbook put together for a movie that belongs (in phys form) on every movie fan's shelf.

Mad Max is refreshing. High action, limited dialogue, and over he tip macheesmo. Yet it never falls into the traps of most "B" movies that try to use the same formula. It seems like it should be cheesy, given the ridiculous characters that Mad Max is up against, yet it still somehow feels grounded and serious. It's a must buy that immensely watchable a second, third, and fourth time.

I had my doubts about George Miller's new addition to the Mad Max franchise but this movie totally blew me away. The effects, atmosphere, practice effects, and nonstop action made this one of the best action/adventure movies of 2015. Tom Hardy is great as Max but Charlize Theron is the star here with her turn as Furiousa. A must watch for Mad Max fans. Can't wait for the next one.

If I could give this movie 6 stars I would. It's just simple a great movie. This movie was underestimated from the very beginning by critics and fans, myself included. However this movie proves everyone wrong. The movie starts off quickly and never really slows down till the credits roll. Action form the moment you press play. A true must for all Mad Max fans and all fans of Action.

George Miller arguably altered cinema by defining the "post-apocalyptic" look in his second Mad Max film, THE ROAD WARRIOR. FURY ROAD takes that ethos to extreme heights in this non-stop thrill ride. Well, almost non-stop, but a literal thrill-ride. We get a short break at the halfway point before diving back in, armed with somewhat nihilist idealism, if that's at all possible.
