This movie initially leads the viewer to believe s/he is in store for something like "Wolf Creek", or any of a dozen other backwoods country yokel-style horror outings, but then becomes something far more menacing. This is a slow burn of a film, taking its time to establish character and motivation over plot. Acting and production values are top notch. Not the feel good movie of the year by any means, this would make a great (if depressing) double feature with "Open Water".

I bought this the first day it was available. I meant to see in the theater but you know how that goes sometimes :-) It had the same feel as the original Road Warrior which is what I was looking for. It wasn't like the old Mad Max (first in the series) at all; which is OK. Road Warrior really was the gold standard and this was similar but much better. If you liked the old Mel Gibson flicks, you'll love this. Even if you didn't see the old ones, this is a great action movie.

incredibly brutal and bizarre . this is a very unique film indeed. a post apocalyptic world gone mad. this movie is truly insane in a good way. it is very gruff. its visuals are incredible. it may literally be the best movie of 2015. its just that good. George Miller has done it again. max is still madder than ever and he just getting angrier.

I wanted to see this in theaters but wound up missing it. The waiting was worth it. This movie is phenomenal. From the cast to camera shots, I would say this is the best film of the series. Video quality is great, all shots are so vibrant and saturated in color it just looks spectacular. Standard features, Great film, would highly recommend!

Poor dialogue, and Overall bad story. I was trying to figure out if Bain was mad max. Makes thunderdome look more amazing.

I got the Mad Max box set when Fury road came out..Sad to say i never seen a mad Max film before.. After seening Fury Road. I went and Got the 4k Version. The HDR really brights the sky and desert really well. Sometimes too bright..The sound was really great also

I saw this film in theaters days after it came out and I knew I had to have it as soon as I could on Blu-Ray. The camera techniques, acting, writing, direction, stuntwork, and overall majesty and grandness of the film are incredible. I even liked the 3D version, which is not common for my tastes. I cannot recommend Fury Road enough to anyone.

An incredible set with two DVDs. A second DVD of special features that are mesmerizing and insightful. The movie is a fun ride that keeps you on the edge of your seat. The quality of the DVD keeps the visuals intact and utilizes every inch of the TV screen. The vast landscapes in the movie are maintained beautifully and the energy of the chase is intensified through each and every frame. Excellent digital effects and so much fun. A pleasure to watch again and again!

This movie has gained a reputation as a throwback film with practical effects and stunning action. That happens to be true. There are scenes in the film that are stunning when you realize that the stunts are real and the production crew risked life and limb to bring this story to life. There are CGI enhancements that do not interfere with the enjoyment of the movie and the push for a best picture Oscar is debatable, but for a raucous good time, Fury Road is hard to beat!

Mad Max Fury Road is a fantastic action movie with stunning visuals and a great apocalyptic setting. The movies action set pieces are beautifully done with a nice blend of great CGI and real driving and fight scenes. Purchase the movie, its great. You don't need to be versed in the Mad Max lore to enjoy, as it hardly dabbles into its past!

This was one of my favorite movies when it was released and has some amazing stunts and action sequences. When I finally set up my home theater projector I made sure it was one of the first movies I watched because I enjoy it that much. No words, it is spectacular and the action is gripping from start to finish!

I've never seen the previous Mad Max films when I first saw this film. It was more than just an action film, it was a work of art! The plot is very simple but there real draw of the film is how much practical effects they've used throughout. By the time you finish the film, you'll be saying "What a lovely day!"

My daughter's boyfriend is something of a Mad Max scholar, having viewed it many times in various theater setups. His verdict was that my HDR DVD when played through a first rate home theater setup (LG OLED65BP6, Sonos surround audio and Samsung BDP-K8500) was the best show he'd seen. It pretty much blew me away as well.

I declare this the best film of 2015! I was never a huge fan of the original mad max trilogy, despite having a love of post-apocalyptic films. But I'm certainly a fan of this one. The action is quite unique. It really can't be compared to other action films at all. Charlize Theron gives a great performance. It is definitely worth owning.

I have seen the trio of the original Mad Max movies with Mel Gibson. The new Fury Road has not only the charm of the original, but the new new Fury Road has Tom Hardy, who make the viewer want to see more. You must see the new Mad Max to give justice to the franchise director George Miller. If you like excitement, this movie is for you! 1

If you own a 4K Tv and you haven’t watched this movie on it then you need to do yourself a favor and do so. One of the best 4K’s you can own, it is truly in a league of its own. The steelbook design also really captures the grimy feel of the movie

I remember seeing this iteration of the Mad Max story and loving the high intensity action highlighted by a fantastic backdrop. And then to see it again in black and white it is like an entirely new movie. It completely changes the mood and feel of some of the scenes and was really entertaining. 100% recommend

I definitely bought this movie 3 times: once in HD, once in 3D, and now in 4K. Totally worth it each time. I'm an avid steelbook collector, so naturally I needed this one. The embossed front really adds character, and the color choice really pops.

Okay, so it's not for everyone. But as far as action is concerned, it was fantastic. You don't need to have seen the Gibson flicks, though I recommend those as well. Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron are perfect. It gets going right from the start and never lets up. Shame it didn't make enough to get the sequels they planned. LOVE this movie.

One of the best action movies of the last decade. Once the actions starts, it doesn't let up till the camera stops rolling. Make no illusions about it, the plot is minimal, as most pure action is. However, considering the lack of plot, the actors give the material a lot more emotional depth than one would expect from the genre. Well done.
