Watched original Mad Max (not at time of release, 2-3 years ago) and wasn't expecting much; movie absolutely thrilled and was just very impressive throughout. Felt the performance from Theron was quite good and the whole 'no green screen' approach was a fantastic change of pace from most modern fare.

Great way to test your home theater setup. The audio and video from this are sweet. The steelbook is one of the more beautiful ones I think I have in my collection. Glad I got it when I did.

Mad Max: Fury Road is a cinematic masterpiece and one of the best films I have seen in a long time. The mixing of practical and special effects creates a perfect blend of cool stunts and awesome visuals. Just to be able to watch the sandstorm sequence alone would be worth the full price of this movie.

Fans of the original trilogy will not be disappointed in the action of this flick, nor the portrayal of the standard Max post-apocalyptic world. The drama and action are at fever pitches, the filming sharp and clean, decent soundtrack and a good, overall revamping of the *character* of our original Max. Definitely not a remake, but a continuation of the story line, as it were, and true to the spirit of the originals.

I have not seen a more visually enticing movie than Mad Max: Fury Road. This movie blew me away, while not a thought provoking film, it's Mad Max, what do you expect? This movie is not mediocre and should definitely be witnessed!

Yes, a movie like no other made anymore - insane, but almost completely practical effects with as little CGI as possible - gorgeous, intense, incredible - and you get the 4K disc, the bluray disc, AND a digital code which gets you the 4K version with Atmos on VUDU - awesome

The only ties to the original film are in the theme only. Everything else is different and in my opinion much better as this representation of the franchise is a combination of the second and third films from the original series. I couldn't be happier with this film as part of my growing collection.

I have been waiting for this steelbook for a while and been looking online seeing if I could get on and saw one coming here in immediately pre ordered this steelbook and was so excited to have this in my collection

The blue ray 3d was better than the 3d at the movies!! I'm guessing the active 3d technology gives a much better picture than the passive technology at the theatre. I'm not that big on a lot of action but this movie had me hook line and sinker, from start to finish. Do yourself a favor go and get it!

I am a huge Mad Max fan so my review may be a little biased. The movie has very little CGI which is a huge plus for me. The action is non-stop and some of the best I have seen in recent memory. The Blu-ray looks awesome on my 55" 4k TV. They are in talks to make a sequel and I really hope they do.

Best Viewed on a big screen, with the volume at an irresponsibly loud level. The best action movie of 2015, my heart didn't stop pounding in my chest till about halfway through the movie. While the script is sparse, the amazing action sequences, music, and costumes make this a truly unique film.

Tom Hardy is the new Marlon Brando and George Miller is a master filmmaker !! Never before has a filmmaker been this amazing while shooting action sequences ! Charlize Theron and Tom Hardy have an on screen symbiotic relationship that requires little to no dialogue . This film is a masterpiece !!!!

When I first saw the trailer for Mad Max, I was very septical about considering I love the original. Boy was I wrong! It does evrythng perfect. The characters, the settings, the action and special effects are top notch and are handled with such care. If you see one movie this year make it Mad Max!

I thought this movie would have been better titled Furiosa, considering the character seems to be the lead more than Max. I enjoyed the previous Mad Max movies more. However, the visual cinematics added to this movie in a different way, making it enjoyable to watch.

This movie is a great feat filled with spectacular, real effects and strange, creative imagery and characters not seen often in film. I mean, fights with flame throwing guitarist and elderly women who can shoot and take a punch, sound ridiculous. But in this movie and cinematic universe it works.

Not sure what else to say about this movie besides "amazing." High octane from start to finish, amazing action, amazing actors, amazing set design, amazing blend of CGI and practical effects. Incredible movie.

This movie is packed full of action and was the first movie I watched after installing a new surround sound system and it was certainly perfect for that. It's full on action and lots of explosions and gun shots. A little short on story but you hardly have time to think about that in between the action. Looks forward to watching the black and white version in a few months.

Fury Road is the best action movie I've seen in the last 20 years. Charlize Theron is gorgeous and tough as Furiosa and Tom Hardy gives a muted, but perfect performance as the titular character. If you want give your eyeballs a roller coaster ride, buy this and throw your hands up in the air.

visuals are breathtaking! the motion took me a bake a little but thats just the director's visual sty;e. haven't sound and visuals are great! hdr is so pretty. chase scenes whoch is like half the movie will keep you on the edge of your seats. simple plot but
