Story. Character. Plot. The integral and minute ways these elements affect and evolve one another. If storytelling and emotion is why you like movies then Fury Road is a no brainer. This movie is so engrossing and consuming, I think it transcends a franchise and a namesake. It is a cinematic feat. It is a long movie yet one that never dawdled. I am not there are any words that can describe it. You can read a synopsis or a review but, if you're up for it, this is an experience. At least attempt it. If not your cup of tea it's still what a movie experience is supposed to be.

My friend and I saw Fury Road in the theaters and I had read that the original version was shot in black & white. I did more research and waited and hoped that this version would be released...the wait was well worth it! So much for studio dragging it's feet because this is the version to watch...moves along at an even more faster pace and shines in Black & White. It's a shame more movies aren't because there is still something to be said for the power of shooting without color. Don't get me wrong both versions are unique in their own way and still spectacular, but in my opinion the colorless version adds a little more depth to the chaos and desert landscape.

If you're a Mad Max fan and love the franchise you will love this movie. The 3D is awesome and the action is non-stop. The movie has so much replay value you will watch it over and over. Treat yourself and enjoy!!!

Those of us with a curved screen Samsung UHDTV or SUHDTV know how good 3D Blu-ray movies look in the comfort of our homes and Mad Max Fury Road in 3D Blu-ray is definitely one of those must see movies you'll definitely watch several times because it is that good. One viewing just isn't sufficient to take in the WOW factor this movie's cinematic photography has in its 3D effects. Everyone whose seen this movie at my home in 3D is just simply amazed at how good it looks in 3D on a curved screen TV! This is definitely one of the best 3D Blu-ray movies I own and have ever viewed!

Before this hit the theatre, I did my homework and watched the originals. Honestly, I didn't like them, but suffered through, thinking there might be some kind of background info that would help me understand Fury Road. I guess watching them was helpful. The main reason I wanted to see FR was because of Tom Hardy. He's such a fantastic actor, I was excited to see what he'd bring to this role. Well, the whole cast in FR turned out to be great. This is a fun, action packed film, that's a little strange at times, but I thoroughly enjoyed it! And you might, too!

Mad Max: Fury Road is one of the best action movies with a lead female character. Tom Hardy might be Max, and he does a good job for his part, but Charlize Theron, in her role as Imperator Furiosa, is arguably the movie. The post apocalyptic scenes are disturbing, but they set the groundwork and the catalysts for cheering the protagonists on while wishing that the tyrannical villain, Immortan Joe, has coming to him exactly what he deserves. The world is a harsh place; especially when the world is a Post-Apocalyptic mess of social and genetic unrest. George Miller has topped himself. This film is a visual marvel and eye-popping, face-melting, pulse-pounding beauty! From the opening credits for the next 2 hrs. you are on the wildest ride of your life...and this is simply a daily ordeal for 'ole Max here. Watch it and hang on tight!

I was totally caught off guard both by how AMAZING this film is and how completely INSANE this world is. I can remember seeing the Road Warrior and the original Mad Max as a kid but they didn't have the shock factor that this one does. This is so in your face, balls to the wall crazy from beginning to end, it just totally moves out at breakneck speed. Incredible action sequences, so well filmed, so well staged this film is just incredible. HIGHLY RECOMENDED

Loved this movie. Most movies now a days are polished clean sci fi/ action films. This movie is gritty well written and has visuals rarely seen in any movie. I think this was on par or maybe even better than the Road Warrior. The blu ray has great extras that cover everything you may want to know about the making of this masterpiece.

Everyone I have played this movie for loved it. Pure action, little dialog. Some reviews have slammed it for being too feminist and not enough dialog. Who cares? Great movie, hands down. I've always been a fan of the originals (at least Road Warrior and Thunderdome). Sometimes I agree with remakes/reboots, sometimes not. In this case I think it was a much needed and deserved update. Hope they do a sequel.

Been watching mad max movies since i was a loud and this one is up there with road warrior. It looks even better with the addition of HDR, the 4k resolution did not make any real difference. The film just had such amazing colors that look out standing thanks to HDR. The sound is also spectacular, the dolby atmos sound quality is fantastic. Loved watching this before but now it is even better.

This film is pure cinema and deserved all of its Oscar nominations and wins. It's extremely well directed by George Miller and gets better with every viewing. The video and audio are excellent and the 3D is really well done. Several entertaining bonus features are here which give a good deal of information about the making of the movie.

This movie is pure art, I did not want to watch it because it didn't look like something that I would normally watch. I got it because it was buy 2 or 3 and get one free , something like that. And oh God, this is such a good movie , it has a great message to our future, the fighting and chasing sequences were spectacular and the 4k quality is 100 % the best one out yet.

Near perfection. A really fun and exciting ride. It's not as brutal as the original two films but still really cool in so many ways. The only minor gripe I had was with the skull logos carved into the mountains and gear shifters, too cartooney-looking in my opinion. Still managed a great film even without an R-rating which is impressive for this kind of movie. A must-own!

The most expensive art film of all time. It doesn't even have a plot....it's just a concept piece: "get to the green place". And then 120 minutes of mind blowing chase ensues. And it is CRAZY. Nothing else like this exists. It's not better than Road Warrior...it is its own beast. And it is CRAZY.

George Miller's post-apocalyptic vision is both fascinating and highly entertaining. This is being called "the greatest action movie ever made" and it really is hard to think of many others that are able to match its quality. Tom Hardy brings a lot to the screen as the new Max, even with almost no dialogue. Charlize Theron is great as well. Looks fantastic on Blu-ray.

One of the great, modern action films. Fast-paced from start to finish with insane visuals and surprising character depth. Blu-ray looks great, comes with a decent assortment of features. Have not scoped the 3D yet.

By far the best action movie of the year and incredibly quotable and genuine. Must own.

Purchased this as my first Dolby Atmos Blu-Ray disc to try out my new 5.1.2 system. All I have to say is... WOW! The movie is non-stop and is beautifully shot. The colors and images jump off the screen. The Dolby Atmos mix is truly reference quality. The addition of the height plane in the mix adds a whole new dimension.

Great award winning movie with great visuals, perfect for 4k. This package is great because it includes a digital code, Blu-ray, and 4k disc. Lots of action on this movie to show off the higher quality visuals. Keep in mind the 4k disc will only play on 4k players! But that's why the other discs are included.
