Warner Bros. and Best Buy have provided a brand spanking new SteelBook for Mad Max Fury Road. The original SteelBook release sold out pretty fast, this time around it includes the 4K disc and a 4K digital copy. The SteelBook case itself has a beautiful matte finish, it houses the film in 2 disc, disc one contains the film in a 4K disc and disc two contains the film on HD with the supplements released previously. The Black and Chrome edition is not included here. This release is recommended to al SteelBook lovers and collectors out there!

took too long to get this sequel but in 4k it was worth the wait

READ: This is the definitive version to own. Not the early 2014 release or the UHD version. This comes with the Black and Chrome (b/w version) of the film that unlike other movies, was made to be in black and white. Okay, so the night shots were shot in the daytime and digitally changed (they wind up looking a little grey/purple), but the rest of the movie is like it's been filmed with infrared film! It's slick and very noir. A word of caution for everyone; the movie has a strange cadence no matter the version because of the filming speed. So if it feels "jittery" or has "the soap opera effect", it's not your setup, it's just how the movie turned out.

An amazing mad max movie. The new max actor did an amazing job.

Great movie lots of action and it was worth the money

Watching this film in HDR was certainly worth the price.

Mad Max is an Australian dystopian action multi-media franchise created by George Miller and Byron Kennedy. It began in 1979 with Mad Max, and was followed by three films: Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior (1981), Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome (1985) and Mad Max: Fury Road (2015). Mel Gibson starred in the first three films and Tom Hardy took over the titular role in the fourth film. The series follows the adventures of Max Rockatansky, a police officer of the Main Force Patrol in a future Australia whose civilization is rapidly collapsing due to war and critical resource shortages. When his wife and child are murdered by a vicious biker gang, Max kills them in revenge and becomes a drifting loner. As Australia degenerates further into barbarity, this skilled warrior of the road finds himself helping pockets of civilization initially for his own self-interest, but his motives always drift into more idealistic ones.

Mad Max: Fury Road would stun no matter how unwieldy Warner's 1080p/AVC-encoded video presentation turned out to be. But the image doesn't falter or deviate for a second. Faithful to Miller and cinematographer John Seale's every last intention, the presentation is magnificent. The screen bleeds brilliant colors and bold primaries. Visceral reds, rusty oranges, savage yellows and stark, inky black levels, brought to life with vivid contrast and breathtaking visual punch. Detail is terrific too. Edges are razor sharp, textures are wonderfully resolved, delineation is excellent, and the finest veneer of filmic grain is present. Pore over the tattered costumes. The tumorous prosthetics. The welded steel hides of the wheeled war rigs and battle beasts. The dust. The dirt. The grime. The stubble. The scars. The wires. The bolts. The sparks. The hurtling debris. All without significant artifacting, banding, aliasing or other issues getting in the way of everything that's on display. (There are slight hints of ringing here and there, but it was present in the theatrical presentation and has nothing to do with the encode.) The Blu-ray release of Fury Road boasts one of the most striking video presentations of the year.

I love the way the action is here and fast pace movie.

I have been a metal gear solid fan ever since I played the first one on the playstation one, I've played all of the series except for 2 of them, one on original nintendo and the other on psp called peace walker, I have put probably 9 hours into it and I am loving it graphics are amazing, story is great so far, online servers have been undergoing maintenance so I'm not sure about the online side of it, but the game is massive it's completely open world you can customize your character, horse etc., I haven't been able to put it down since I got it, pushing my nights of required sleep to the minimum, all in all a must own game, collectors edition comes with some dlc a map, steel book case which looks amazing and a half scale replica of big bosses prosthetic arm, made of plastic instead of metal only downside, I recommend the game to anyone , collectors edition only to those of the true fan of the game.

Old movie but still really good bought it for my hubby

This movie is awesome! I loved it in the theater and getting to see it in HDX on my home theater is incredible.
