Don't be led by reviews criticizing the film because Charlize Theron's role pretty much overtake's the iconic role of Max played by Tom Hardy. This is one of the best Mad Max films ever made. Please note that the UHD Blu-ray is only playable on UHD Blu-ray players, and is best viewed with a 4k television and a high speed HDMI cable. The picture is stellar while the audio is similar to the regular Blu-ray release. I don't know how far developers and distributors are going to take this new format, but it's gonna take some getting used to with the higher cost of purchase. Be aware that the UHD Blu-rays do come with regular Blu-rays for those that want to slowly transition.

Having missed this at the theatre on its initial run, I wanted to see the picture and this Blu ray filled the bill beautifully. It was so lavished on at Oscar time that I proceeded with some caution ,but after seeing Fury Road, I have to say this is the best High dollar B movie EVER! Director George Miller delivers the goods in spades and the FX are jaw dropping, the action non stop, the actors spot on and the story engaging.............how can you lose? A fantastic relaunch to the legacy of Mad Max........and did I mention Charlize Theron..........WOW! A great time for all, but not so much for younger folks, a bit of a rough ride on Fury Road! Definatly recommended!

As long as I can remember Mad Max has always been my go to character. Whether it was to clean up the outback wasteland or a battle to the death. I can always count on Mad Max to be there to entertain me and my family, to ensure that we got the best quality for our money. Even when that meant paying a little bit extra for said movie quality. But again cost is a small price to play for a brand that has never let me or my family down. You could say we're Mad Max people for life, now with that being said. I'm not a fan of the extra add on rotten tomatoes sticker. It's annoying to have to try and remove said sticker, which sometimes damages the structural integrity of the cover. You get the full effect of frustration for damage to the product. Also it doesn't help when you're collection is full of pristine covers and you have a tear in one of them

This movie looks great on 4K and lives up to the hype
