Prior to watching this movie I had never seen any of the Madagascar movies and I was a little unsure about purchasing animation movies. After all, I don't have a wife and kid. I really enjoyed the comedy and the actors. The 3D pop outs were awesome (and there were plenty) on my 50" Samsung Smart TV! I actually ducked a few times thinking I would get hit in the face by a flying object. You really get your money's worth. All movies should have things flying an d poking out the tv. Great buy, if I had to buy it over again I would. Definitely see if another site has it for cheaper and have Best Buy to price match. Your 3D experience may differ depending if your tv takes active (powered/expensive/best) or passive (movie theater glasses/cheaper/average) glasses. Enjoy!

I think this was a pretty good movie overall. I wish I had gone back and watched the other two for I don't remember were it left off. I was going to buy regardless thought to add to the collection. The energy in this one is pretty high I must say. It has its typical humor from Marty and crew. I like how it tied in with the circus. What I wasn't fond of was some of the unrealistic things that went on. I understand its animation and they can do anything, but keep it somewhat realistic. I won't go into detail for it doesn't really take much away from the movie. The Superwoman Animal Hunter was in a league of her own. She added some humor for sure but at the same time, I scratched my head a few times, lol. I like the message in this one that it presented. Kids may be able to relate to it. My kids loved it for its a really loud, active and colorful movie. They are pre-school age so that's what a movie needs to capture the attention of kiddos nowadays. I'd say give it a go. I attempted to watch it on release day and ended up falling asleep after 30mins. I didn't give it a fair judgment at first. Then I realized that I was just flat out tired and I tried to watch it after 9pm. So I gave it another go mid-day a few days later when I was wide awake. Glad I did for I had missed a very entertaining movie.

At this point, who doesn't love Madgascar !! This movie is a must in our movie collection specially for our son who loves the colors, music and animals in this movie. He is only 18 months but we let him watch something now and then and he loves dancing along. The 3D version is one of the best 3D movies we have! The clearness of the film is amaizing! We can't wait for the first and second to come out in 3D as well or so we hope!!!

The third installation of the Madagascar series that starts where they left off in Madagascar 2, Africa, and continue their journey back to NY. Storyline was decent and had some good funny lines along the way. The penguins are hilarious as usual. Picture and audio quality are excellent, the 3D presentation is fantastic. The circus scene is worth watching. Would recommend!

This is definitely the best animated film this year, best Madagascar yet. Madagascar 3 is heartwarming, hilarious, and ties up all the knots for all our favorite characters. I am really hoping and praying that we are lucky enough to get a Madagascar 4. I promise you, you won't be disappointed with this movie, truly awesome.

It great family and kid movie along for fans of the is trilogy. Alex and the gang leave Africa and join to Circus. Many laughs and full circle moment as all of the gang enjoy the trials of circus life. DA DA DA Afro Circus Poka Dot Poka Dot.

This movie is worth buying in Blu Ray 3d...if you have a 3D TV. The graphics are really cripsy. The movie itself is really funny. My 4 year old loves it. Its a movie you can keep watching over and over again.

This movie is really funny and although cheese, the story will keeps kids and adults alike entertained for the duration of the film. The 3D looked really fun in the theaters so in my opinion the blu-ray 3D bundle looks like a better deal. This bare bone DVD doesn't have enough extras to keep you entertained after the movie is over.

Fantasic 3D, lots of pop-outs, crystal clear. I did enjoy the movie. The 3D is what kept it interesting because this story is really based for children and not so much for adults. There is no blurring in the movie.

I was surprised that this Madagascar was a lot more fun than Madagascar 2. This doesn't seem as forced and Stefano is one of the best characters!

The movie was hilarious. even though I saw it in the theaters I picked it up at the store because I love the movie and so do my wife and kid.

Easily the best and funniest in the series. Recommended on the 3D alone - very fun 3D experience for the whole family. This is a great family film to watch and both adults and kids can enjoy this movie. Recommended for a fun evening with the family.

I purchased everyone of the Madagascar movies this one does not disappoint - if you have kids or grandkids this is a must for your library

this is by far the best 3d and the comedy is great for family viewing. I like the non vulgarity movies anyway. Just clean comedy.

These movies are great, I love them as much as the kids. The 3D in this movie is really great also.

This movie is great, my son loves it. We got the combo pack with digital download for a great deal. The only complaint is the hoops you have to go through to get the digital download.

Great family movie and believe me this movie will get played over and over again.
