This movie is entertaining enough to watch once or twice. The penguins are my favorite characters as is the case for probably most people which is why they enjoyed their own spin-off movie and TV series.

I remember watching this as a kid and loving it (probably). I don't necessarily remember the quality but I know that it wasn't this good and clear. Highly recommend.

So much better to see Madagascar on Blu-ray than DVD. Plus the sound is better than ever!

I was very pleased by the video quality of this disk, again Dreamworks does not disappoint. Its not on the same level as Kung Fu Panda, but this movie is a few years older. The special features are good, and the penguin short is fantastic (again the video and audio was SUPERB), just as good if not better than those Pixar shorts. The movie itself is great, the characters are very likable and funny, and the voice acting is perfect This is definitely a disk I would recommend to add to your collection as it would serve as a great demo disk for video and audio. It is one of my favorite animated movies.

I original purchased this movie when it was first released but lost it. Madagascar provided my child years of entertainment and is her favorite movie. She had been begging me for a long time to buy her the movie again. So one day while at Best Buy she asked me to buy it. The price was right & it was in stock so I did. No disappointment here! It's still a great movie for the entire family. I love shopping at Best Buy because they always have what I want!

This has become our go-to movie for our 2 year old son. He loves the interaction between animals and the music that the movie employs. He even loves Steve Carell's intro to the DVD. :) I'd recommend this DVDto anyone young or old but especially to parents of small children. Clean. Funny. Engaging. Worth your time and money.

Funny and a good lesson movie for everyone. Be satisfied with what you have and where you live. There’s too many problems if you leave to find something else. My grandchildren loved it. Fast shipping from Best Buy.

I bought this movie because my babies are now getting to the point that they recognize different types of animals and such so I thought they would enjoy it. My wife and I are pretty stocked up on Disney movies and such so I'm glad we added this one, and Part 2, to our collection....

this movie is so cute & fun. this is a favorite for my 4 year old daughter, with the upbeat songs and dancing along with cute storyline, this movie makes an instant family hit that the whole family can enjoy

It is a Kid's movie, my grandkids love to watch these in the vehicle during trips. You can never go wrong for the children.

Loved this movie as a kid, so I had to pick it up to add to the collection. It was at a good price, and I wanted to show it to my little sisters, so I grabbed it.

Penguins are the best part, but this movie is a good family flick that is enjoyable with stufff for adults that goes over the kid's head. The way the best family comedies are.
