Not worth it

Owned for 4 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I get that this is a cheap blender and I would be okay with it if it did at least did some amount of blending. But no matter how big or small chunks I put inside for blending, it just does nothing. Maybe 5% of the actual contents actually get chopped/blended, and the rest maybe don't even come into contact with the blades. This is both with small and large quantities of whatever it is that I want to blend. The only time this has worked for me is when I added lots of water/milk, but what do I do when I don't want (large quantities of) water/milk?

Magic Bullet Blender

I bought this for frothing coffee, but haven't used it for that yet. The only thing i have tried is a milkshake, but wasn't super impressed with the results.

For future reference, please follow the tips below to extend the life of your product.
1. Keep all contents under the max line.
2. Keep run time under one minute intervals.
3. Always blend solids with liquids, nothing carbonated
4. Attach the blade assembly tightly to the container.
5. Let the motor come to a complete stop (2 seconds) before lifting the blade and cup attachment from the power base.
6. Wash all parts by hand and allow to air dry – do not place parts in the dishwasher.
7. Replace your extractor blade(s) every 8-9 months (with daily use) to ensure high quality performance.
8. Do NOT use with HOT ingredients.. For best results, we recommend ingredients be at room temperature or cooler.

Okay blender

No power

I bought it so I can make fruit shakes and the motor gets caught on the frozen food and it stops. It’s small and convenient (easier to set up and pull out than my full sized blender) but I would save a couple more dollars and buy a more powerful little blender.

Needs More Power

From the beginning, the machine has struggled to blend the frozen fruit; eventually it was smooth, but took several minutes. motor is now much louder than 6 weeks ago. I had one a few years ago. I immediately noticed this one did not have the power of the previous model. I can only guess the motor is not the same. I am returning the machine.

Serves its purpose

The bullet is good enough but it doesn’t cut as quickly as the Ninja. I have to blend several times to get a good blend.

Suspiciously short lifespan

It's a good size and blends very very well, and comes with the right number of pieces. However, it stopped working at just over 90 days and I am not pleased. Anytime an electronic does that it feels purposeful as 90 days is an average return/refund window for most stores. I was careful with how I used it too. I never ran it for more than 30 seconds, never went over the max fill line, ect., and the motor still failed. I'm frustrated because if I felt like this machine has lasted an appropriate amount of time I would buy another in a heartbeat. But the suspiciously short lifespan is holding me back, and since I'm outside the return period now I can't even request a replacement.
