This is a no frills UHD Blu-Ray player that just works and doesn’t bombard you with updates and unneeded smart apps.

I use a harmony remote so the tiny remote that came with it is not an issue for me. This was a great deal for a basic 4K player.

I needed to replace a 1080P Samsung BluRay player. I saw this in a Deal of the Day email, and thought it would be an excellent player for the price. Well, that was a major mistake. The unit itself is OK. It plays the BluRays fine, although I've noticed an occasional waver or shimmer with the picture from time to time. I don't know if it is the player or the disc. My major complaint is the remote. This is a $130 player, and it has a 10 cent remote. The remote is tiny for the number of buttons it has, so the buttons are very small. On top of it, the buttons do not respond on the first push, so you have to press them several times to get the button to work. I should take it back, but it is a major hassle to do that. So, I'll swap this unit with one that is on a TV I don't use all that much. I now know why Magnavox is not a major brand name.

If you are looking for a low-cost high feature player, this is for you. I bought this to use on a 2-nd tv and it is great! No complaints!

A simple player - no bells or whistles. It works as intended, make sure you have a HDCP 2.2 input for HDMI.

compact, light weight .... my TV has great picture. This gives OK picture.

It's a solid player for the price but the software is a little slow and it takes a few minutes to get the disc going. Sometimes there would be a black screen for a moment before finally kicking into gear. If you have a few extra dollars to spend, I'd probably get a better quality player.

when you have blue ray and regular dads that can work well you have no another choice but to love it.

Picked this up to view dvds in the bedroom. A great low cost option when you don't need all the bells and whistles.

Good value as I got it for $50. 4k HDR 60 fps no problems. Simple remote and menu system.
