Great movie about the life of Malcolm X in the early days that lead up to him becoming who he was.

A haven't seen this movie before and had to get it at this price. Pleasurable display of history.

Good but not great looking early blu-ray release picture quality-wise so wasn't expecting anything fantastic. Not Spike Lee's best film but a decent movie albeit very long. Great performances, great score and was a great price at Best Buy too!

Malcolm X was a great story, with a great cast, and great director.

Too much of the film focuses on his earlier life before he went to prison. His latter years seem to have been skipped over somewhat. Still and entertaining movie.

Spike Lee's interesting but overlong biopic of Malcolm X has a great performance but Washington but overlooks important aspects of X's life.

Denzel Washington plays Malcom X. The movie was ok but not my type of movie.

Great film and one of Denzel Washington’s best performances

What a fine film. In short it is a great intro to man that mainstream Americans knew nothing about and still don't. This film introduces that group (white Americans) to a one of the most important black men in the history of theis country. I grew up during those tumultuous times and even though I don't agree with all he was about, I think he had a lot to say that was right. I highly recommend this movie to all people of any race to give you another perspective on the time in which this country nearly came to civil war, again.

One of the greatest movies portayals of any actor on living or dead person. Denzel did the best work that you can ask for and with Spike at the head of the helm, you can only ask that public respect the outcome....which is greatness

denzel's performance in this movie truly shows how brilliant he is as an actor. he got malcolm x's mannerisms down, his speech pattern....it was spectacular!

Buy the two disk version of this movie It's a Spike Lee joint so the cinematography is excellent Densel is the lead so the acting is excellent
