This was a wonderful reimagining of the Sleeping Beauty Tale. And being a great time to pick it up, now that she's back in theaters for the second part. The digital version alone, costs more than this amazingly affordable combo. This is a must own for Disney fans. Go add this to your cart now. Highly recommended.

I never saw this and figured it’s about time. I really enjoyed it, and the visuals look fantastic in 4K! Definitely looking forward to seeing the new one now. The SteelBook looks beautiful, however BestBuy needs to do a better job handling these, because it had a dent on it.

Great story. Great screen play. Great acting. A beautifully filmed movie. Angeline was brilliant. Nice steel book. Pick this up. Its 4k and I like it!

Another great Disney move with a excellent cast and a good story line. This movie is definitly a keeper.

Maleficent is a story going on and on, but this is the other side of the story we all know. This one tells the kindness Maleficent learned to share. The story sights and color are gorgeous. Great to see!

Loved this movie... lots of CGI creatures and cool effects. Rediscover this old story from the "villain's" perspective. It's a twist that really makes you rethink the classics. I would recommend it to everyone!

I love this movie from beginning to end, great acting, great special effects, and great story telling, this movies is for everybody in the family.

I personally am a big fan of the second movie. But my wife enjoys this one so much!

another Walt Disney live action remake of a classic fantasy with a twist (sleeping beauty isn't the central character, maleficent is)

My grandchildren and I watched this movie on a trip to saltlake. It made our trip seem shorter.

Maleficent was a great movie, in my opinion. I knew that I wanted to purchase it when it came out. I picked up the DVD/Blue Ray combo from Best buy for only $19.99. What a bargain!

I saw this movie in the airplane. It was so good that i had to own the 4k dvd.

Finally I can truly say that Angie has won me over with this dramatic, cinematic, flickering, and stunning achievement. Maleficent has crack the story of Sleeping Beauty wide open. Angie has in my book some great films but this one made her a Super Star by my personal standards. Buy it at Best Buy and earn some points in the process.

I have enjoyed the live-action renditions of the Disney classics, and this one takes a twist on the story and puts it in the perspective of the villain herself. Although if it's not the story you recall seeing, it definitely holds its own with storytelling. Maleficent is the "Wicked" of Disney movies, where we see the actions and reasons for why she became evil, and also the redemption arc that is not present in the original film "Sleeping Beauty." I truly enjoy this change, but for fans of the longtime film it may come as a shock to see the changes made to the tale. Aurora is now in the film for much longer, Stefan is an evil king, and the three good fairies are very different than the previous in terms of their actions. Some of the moments from the original are in there, but rushed and short. The main focus is on Maleficent, and her story arc. However, for fans of the original, this can also open up more to things we didn't know before about Maleficent. I highly recommend this to any Disney fan, however I also advise that they brace for the changes in the story.

This is a very well done alternate story line to Disney's Sleeping Beauty. It ties into the original with a few character changes and does a very good job of doing so. Might be a bit scary for younger kids as they had to have Angela's own daughter play the younger Aurora as the kids of the right age were scared of her in costume. Highly recommended by both me and my adult kids who are all fans of the original Sleeping Beauty.

I was able to pick up this 4K on Black Friday for a nice price. Originally, I saw it in the theater with friends. We really had no expectations going in but I figured if Angelina Jolie is in it then her performance if nothing else would be good and it might be worth trying. All in all, it kept my attention, I liked the twist and it was a visually appealing film. I'm very picky about my 4K purchases. The story, sound, and visual quality are most important. It helps if most of the cast are people I enjoy watching but it doesn' have to be that at all. All that aside I thought it was worth picking up especially given the nice discount.

I really like this SteelBook. It's not embossed. It's a slick, matte surface, and the colors really pop on the outside and inside. I'm a Maleficent fan, so I had to get this. Also, this 4K version is a win. The colors really stand out on a 4K television even though the sound is not that great. If you have a soundbar or a system, then the sound is manageable. Great purchase!
