Based solely off of the the original Sleeping Beauty fairytale, I expected a much more devious Maleficent, however, that was not so much the case. Angelina Jolie played a great role regardless, and the fairies a were cute addition too.

Purchased this movie for my nine year old grandson and ended up enjoying it as much as he did. Purchased another for myself.

My family and I absolutely loved seeing the story being told through Maleficent's eyes. An enjoyable twist to classic story.

Angelina Jolie is great as maleficent. Although, they don't follow the Disney story; the premise of the movie is still sound.

This was a great twist or back story to the animated Sleeping Beauty. I only wish that this came with the 3D version as well.

I'm not 100% sure how the original story line went but this take on it was certainly entertaining. Good for the whole family.

This isn't for little little girls but the pre-teen set will like it. It is a darker version of Sleeping Beauty but it is beautifully filmed and Angelina Jolie really embodies the role. Fun for the family, great story of parental love.

Kids were begging me to buy this movie for some time now. But the movie was always so expensive, but not at Best Buy.
