Sequels are never quite as good as the originals, and this movie was no exception - the music in the first was more recognizable, and there were some plot points that didn't seem to follow the original perfectly. But it was still a fun girls-night-out movie and a must-own for my musical-loving daughters.

I initially hadn't seen the first one, but my husband did & loved it, so this was a must see! We both loved it & well, it became a must own! Bonus with this purchase is that the original is included with the digital which we were not expecting!

What a fun movie! It's even better than the first one! Lots of switching back and forth from the past to the present to tell the story. It's a very sweet tribute to the unique love of a mother and daughter.

If you love Abba, nothing I say matters... Buy the movie and enjoy it for what it is. If you don't like Abba, why bother? Look, the first one had a cute premise and frankly, it worked... A remake, with Cher, who is barely older than Streep as the grandmother? Typical Hollywood over indulgence Imo...

Purchase for Wife and daughter. They enjoyed but was just okay for me.

The packaging itself was great the film not so much. Save your money.

Mama Mia Here We Go Again. I never saw the first one, but it didn't matter. It was easy to catch up. The movie was very entertaining, fun, and funny. Performances by the cast were quite good. I found myself humming the songs after the movie.

The second time around was not as blissful as the first time but fun.

Totally an impulse buy as I went to store to replace a tablet. Didn't have a lot of time to go to the movie and also wanted something to watch over the holidays. Store had it place where I could easily see it and I gave in to the impulse!

Even if you dont know all the ABBA songs, this is a fun movie. It's also a tear jerker. Watch Mama Mia first or after. Doesn't matter. I own the first movie, and my daughter and I saw Here We Go Again together at the theater. Campy and sentimental. The music is great! I bought the second one too!

Not quite as good as the original but wirth seeing if you're a fan

We have really enjoyed this Mama Mia sequel. Lilly James is amazing as the young Donna and Cher is made for her part as Sophie’s Grandmother. Both Mama Mia film have wonderful scenery and fun ABBA songs.

My wife loves this movie. I thought is was ok/fine. This review is for the sound and picture, since everyone may have a different opinion about the movie itself. I can happily report that this 4K movie disc looked good and sounded good.

Enjoyed this movie and it was cleverly interwoven with younger versions of the original cast. Kind of wish that Meryl Streep was in the sequel. However, thoroughly impressed with Cher’s introduction at the end as the “grandmother.” Look forward to a third installment!

We all know that many sequels don't measure up to the first movie, but I think this one does. If you're an ABBA fan, you'll enjoy the music and this movie just as much as the first one. And Cher's guest appearance is a bonus!

Mama Mia! Here We Go Again is the perfect DVD to have if you enjoyed the original Mama Mia. The music is great and it actually explains certain things that were in the original. It is a perfect addition to my DVD collection.

To me if you like the first one than you will enjoy this one.
