Excellent movie purchased the 4k version after owning the steelbook blu ray The picture quality is a big step up over the blu ray, But the dolby atmos sound track is the upgrade path for the 4k purchase. With this and the movie itself gives you time watching a movie a special time. Buy and enjoy.

found the movie to be very good like the plot and the characters in the movie All star cast lots of action and i have been watching superman movies for over 40 yrs and i find this one to be the best out off all the movies and the Christopher Reeves supermans use to be my favorites till now and felt Christopher Reeves would be proud felt his presence in the new superman(Henry Cavill) who kind of reminded me of him so that gets extra points in my book

It was kind of unique but some of the actors I thoguht could have done better in their roles. Some were good but overall I thought could have been better. I really question this directors ability to direct Comic based movies where it has significant devoted fans from the comics. Trying to be unique can backfire badly if not careful. Overall this one was a moderate success. If you really want it find a good deal, or rent it first. Not worth buying if you are on the fence about it.

Man of Steel (2013) is a truly extraordinary film. Zack Snyder delivers a gripping story about one of the most iconic superheroes, and Henry Cavill plays Superman to perfection. The cinematography is breathtaking, and Hans Zimmer’s score is one of the best I’ve ever heard. A must watch!

I grew up a huge fan of the Christopher Reeves Superman and didn't like the film previous to this one a few years ago. Man of Steel is the best version of Superman since Reeves. The film was as accurate to those films as it could be, and had some interesting changes that fit today's culture. Fight scenes were a little too long for my taste, but today's generation of filmgoers love destruction. Can't wait for the next installment in this series.

First things first, I loved this movie! It has it's flaws but still a great film to watch. I was actually very impressed with Henry Cavill. He did an amazing job as superman. Overall the acting was superb, though maybe not the best script ever. The action was epic in scale but it didn't have the same weight as The Avengers' action did, it felt a bit generic and bland. Overall this film has much of everything, emotion, action and some humor. Great film

MAN OF STEEL is a movie i fall in love with more and more after each watch! The music, the story, the visuals! This movie has it all! Never understand the hate this movie got! I hope we get another superman movie soon!

I grew up with the original Superman, Christopher Reeves. Without question, he set the bar very high for the superhero of all superheroes. Here comes Henry Cavill whom I think is absolutely phenomenal and the ideal Christopher Reeves replacement. He has the looks, physique, and great acting ability. I really enjoyed this movie. The visual and audio in 4K is to die for!!!

In my opinion, this is the best Superman movie so far. I was impressed with the story and am looking forward to the sequel. I thought the movie did a great job with making the movie seem more realistic. I know it's far from being real, but I thought the human reaction to the aliens was scripted well. I thought the 3D version is a great example of having the ability to watch in 3D. The 3D effect draws you into the movie even more.

First off, Man of Steel is a refreshing new look at the Superman story that stands on its own, and spends more time developing his character before making him the Super hero. This collector edition is superb with an incredible display case and all of the video formats included - 3-D, Blu-ray, DVD, UV. Definitely worth the extra for a Superman collector.

The DC Cinematic Universe got off to a fine start with Man of Steel. The 3D is decent, but not demo-standard. What you have is a fine modernization of the classic Superman myth, with a modern take on Super-powered destruction and its consequences. This Superman focuses more on the Alien aspects of the Super Kryptonians. Henry Cavill provides a soulful performance as the Man of Steel. Definitely worth owning.

This truly is the Superman movie we never got. This is comic book action at it's best and I highly recommend anybody that likes Superman to get this on Blu Ray. The movie starts with the death of Krypton, which looks great, then to Clark learning about his origins but also facing the ghosts of Krypton ending with a spectacular melee between Superman and General Zod. I have not seem any of the special feature so I cannot speak to them.

I've been waiting to buy "Man of Steel" since I saw it in the theaters. I saw this movie in the 3D format at the IMAX and of course it couldn't be duplicated by this DVD but I don't care. I like the character, I liked the acting and most of all, I enjoyed the cinematography! I bought this as a Blu Ray DVD since I have a Blu Ray player but I believe as a regular DVD it would have still been a god DVD to purchase. I'm glad I have it!

The origin story of Superman was a good start to the much maligned DCEU. Kal El is sent to Earth to escape the doomed planet Krypton and is raised as a regular child on Earth, only to be outed by General Zod and his allies. I bought the disc as an upgrade to the 3D version. The battle on Krypton looks great in 4K. Well worth the upgrade.

The movie looks great already in 1080P although with 4K, I didn’t feel there was a dramatic difference in quality.

A very creative re-telling of the origin of one of the great superheroes of our time. Henry Cavill does well as the "Man of Steel", and does so by bringing more vulnerability to the character of Kal-El/ Clark Kent, telling a story about a young man who want to help people, but also yearns to belong even when he knows he never will. Great story-telling, and a great starting point for the future DCU Films Franchise!!!

The fight scenes are pretty good, but apparently they didn't know how or when to stop. Got to actually be boring after a while of the same old thing. Wish they had put more time into the younger days of superman growing up, but they limited that part of the plot to only a few flashbacks. Still, worth watching if you want to wreck a bowl of popcorn when you have nothing better to do.

Most people are not the biggest fan of this movie due to the actions of Superman that is portrayed that differ quite greatly from the comics. In my opinion this movie had a lot of things I had always hoped to see in a Superman movie. The action is tremendous and shows the real power that no other Superman has been able to show, Definitely my 2nd favorite DC movie (behind Wonder Woman).

I am a huge Superman and Batman fan! I found the story to be intriguing and the sets were awesome. I was really disappointed with the 3D. I have a Samsung 7000 series 3D tv and movies like Avatar or Star Trek (into darkness) blew me away. Unfortunately The Man of Steele did nothing for me. It was like watching the 2D version with the TV set in 3D mode which gives you depth but nothing pops out of the screen. I still love the movie, I just wanted my mind blown by 3D.
