I really didn't enjoy the plot to this movie. Superman allows so much destruction to cities and allows people to know his true identity. Did the writer never read the source material?

Pretty good movie, definitely the best superman movie ever made, however compared to other superhero movies I'd say it was kind of weak. Still very entertaining though!

Growing up with Superman with Christopher Reeve can not be replaced. A movie for modern times like Man of Steel was good. To me Christopher Reeve is the only Superman in my book.

Very good movie. I bought this movie bcs of the 4k quality and it delivers. The movie in it self is k but bcs of the 4k quality it makes a whole lot better

As a DC comics fan, I get that this is a bit off-center from what we know, but overall it was still a decent film and they can make up for it in future installments.

Just seemed like a 2 hour long mindless fight between Superman and Z. I'd rather watch 5 seasons of Smallville than this movie again.

The 3D effects in this Superman movie were minimal at best if you're looking for a wow factor this is not the movie!

I like that the storyline of this Superman movie was different than previous movies. But, the story/characters never really connected with me. It was just an ok movie.

Those viewers who are familiar with the Superman story will understand what's going on, while others may find this film very difficult to follow. This is somewhat ironic, since almost nothing happens due to the fact that so very much of the movie is dedicated to the battle with Zod, making the film much longer than it needed to be. The Special Features are a big let-down. There are no deleted or extended scenes, but for some strange reason there is a feature from a different movie--"The Hobbit."

This new take on Superman is a little different, but not bad for a reboot of the series. The movie is a little on the long side, but the ending has a bit of a twist.

At the time, I picked it up for $10 and didn't think it was worth. It's a lovely looking film but its story is just okay and a highly forgettable.

The scenes with the two fathers were excellent. The characters were great but needed further development. The first half of the movie was better than the second.

I had not seen this movie yet. So when I saw Blu-ray with DVD and digital download at a low price, couldn't resist. Can't wait for the sequel next year!

I give the movie 4 stars but I had to return it because they sent the wrong one. It was advertised as the blue ray,dvd and digital but what I received was just the blue ray/dvd and I went online because the stores only had that version too. It seems as if there was a sku number mix up and no one had the right numbers. I will wait until it is on sale again and they get it right, in the meantime it's back to on demand.

ok for a dc movie not as good as marvel story has been told to many times and it the same thing they need to come up with something new to do with super man

This movie is great! From the action to the tender moments depicted between Clark&his earthly Father, I really find it to be a very entertaining watch!

Overall a very good and strong movie, but in my opinion there were some issues with the pacing of the film as well as the films final act was a little off.

The action sequence at the end of the movie was pretty cool but other than that the rest of the movie was really boring

It's a good steelbook if you didn't get the original release. Has inside artwork. Wish Superman looked more like the actor.

Not a bad movie. Doesn't get me jumping up to cheer for the good guys but okay if you haven't got anything better to watch.
