After about a million comic books, cartoons, movies and TV shows everyone knows the story. You would think they could make a version of Superman that wasn't another average origins story or a continuation of the previous films from an obsessive stalker point of view.

This is a pretty good movie. I enjoyed the acting.

I am not a super hero fan. I like some of the previous Batman & Superman films. Adam West's Batman & Linda Carter's Wonder Woman that is my super hero interests I wanted to see this film because I am a fan of Russell, Kevin & Amy. I was so disappointed in this film. 1. All the jumping back & forth in the story from the past to present day. Got so confusing 2. General Zod A disappointment compared to Terrance Stamps version The villains in my mind did not live up to the first two Christopher Reeve films 3. NO chemistry between Lois & Superman NONE 4. All the buildings being knocked down Excuse me, anyone heard of 9-11-01? Most people will not agree with my views, fine. Just did not care for this film.

Man of Steel is one of the most disappointing movies in years. I honestly prefer the first two movies and Superman Returns over this movie. It's not the worst but it's still not anything to run home about, it's just there.

I absolutely love this movie - I have it downloaded on my Xbox but wanted to upgrade to 4K resolution- I have over 30 4K movies that I bought this year at Best Buy and they’ve all been awesome. But the man of steel I’m having problems with. I’m already on my second copy by exchanging it because there is shadowing lines and doubles characters in the film - the quality of the 4K for man of steel is horrible - it’s like it can’t keep up with the picture. Both copies have done this and now I wish I didn’t get this movie because I just wasted $31 and can’t get my money back

This is for anyone who's wanting to buy Man of Steel 4k UHD with the blu-ray and digital code. The SKU is 5463800. As mentioned by a previous review, there is a UPC error on the website and in store. I went to 3 different stores and all of them scanned the 4k blu-ray only and it was $14.99. NOT the one listed with the blu-ray and digital code.

Eh, his films are mostly hype. I thought 300 was ok. Watchmen was a disaster if you know anything about anything. This adaptation is just effects. Watch it to say ooooh and awwww.

almost turned movie off. liked most of the movie until the destruction of city, it was just overdone and too long.
