If you want to see a Superman that's more suited for adults then this movie is for you. The fight scenes will leave you wondering how Batman can even stand a fighting chance against him. Can't wait for the next one. .Blu Ray disc is highly recommended to appreciate the full beauty of this movie.

This is a decent enough place for the start of the DC series of movies that will compete with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but it really doesn't manage to improve on the Christopher Reeve Superman. I dislike some of the casting choices in the series so far, but Henry Cavill is okay.

I love Superman! This is a new version of him. It is directed by Zack Snyder. i love his films. I find his work to be visually outstanding! And MAN OF STEEL is no different! From the opening seen to the end! The story makes Superman look smart and strong again! The movie has lots of action too!

Man of Steel is a highly entertaining movie. I especially enjoy the portrayal of how Superman has to deal with his human or emotional side leading him to grapple with many of the same decisions that we all make to define ourselves. And of course Amy Adams is a great Lois Lane.

Superman is my childhood hero. This version of this story is amazing. I had no hope for it when it was announced but was blown away when the trailers hit. Then I went and saw this in the theater and really liked it. I had to buy it on Blu ray as it's a excellent part of my collection.

Movie is just as advertised, Best Buy delivered my movie in Excellent Condition and it even came with the Slip Cover. Superman movies are always enjoyable, a must have in your own Entertainment Collection.

Overall the movie works fine and I believe it can translate into better sequels for the series. I thought the choice for Superman was a good one. It is hard to point to what is missing in the movie but it left me feeling that it could have been much better. It is also exceptionally longer than it needed to be. It could have removed a good bit of the film that wound up being useless "filler", such as a couple of his memories that were supposed to point out how he adapted into our world and developed his humanity. His relationship with his earthly father was a bit annoying at times and I felt the writers did not provide his character a meaningful death although it appeared that was their intention. They also have Lois Lane track down Clark Kent as Superman as part of the story so there is no mystery there. This made the ending of the movie seem a bit pointless, in my opinion.

Finally a great superman movie! We only waited all of these years. Some complain that the movie is too dark, or not heroic, but I think it is a great approach of an icon. It is kind of hard to keep it from being cheesy, so maybe a little bit of a dark edge is nessecary.

I thought that this was a very good superhero movie, though not the best. The special effects are great. They made Krypton look beautiful and the fights scenes are pretty amazing. I thought the flashbacks sort of threw off the flow of the movie. I think there were better ways to incorporate those parts of the story.

This movie got a bad wrap by some fanboys in my opinion. I enjoyed the heck out of this movie and recommend it to any Superman fan. It was ALMOST too much action, it's a fine line, but i don't think it was crossed. Glad i went out on a limb and purchased to Blu Ray without previously seeing the movie at the theater.

While I do really enjoy this movie, and the transfer is great, it was supposed to come with a digital copy and did not. BB tried to replace it, but they just sent the same movie again. Great movie though.

I have had this on blu-ray since the movie came out. I really liked this movie. Since I have upgraded my home theater to 4K standards, I am also starting to upgrade my movie collection (some of it, anyway) to 4K as well. Beautiful picture compared to 1080P.

This movie is my favorite ans watching it in 4k is the ultimate experience. The only downer is that its missing the directors commentary. It's listed on the slipcase and box but is nowhere to be found. I email warner bros. in regards to this bit haven't received an answer

Cavill is awesome along with the other great cast members. Snyder made it a little too dark and removed the iconic John Williams score was the biggest mistakes he made. Other than that it’s good. 7.5/10

I liked the origin story, other background sequences. Complaints would center around how (like all other movies) directors/writers always draw focus to the incompetence of those in command, as if they aren't even attempting to do the "right things" (some aren't, of course). Worthy of a yearly watch.

I was impressed by this reboot of Superman. I didn't realize at the time this was leading up to the Justice League. Of course the special effects are much better than the original '78 film but the tone of the movie is much darker.

This movie is just awesome! I was big fan of the old superman movies, but this one is just a thing a part. When the tag of the first one was 'You'll believe a man can fly' This one should be 'You'll believe superman exist'. From the blu-ray in particular the extras are just fantastic!

And by that, I mean Superman Returns, hee hee. Man Of Steel is awesome from start to finish and I, of course, had to buy Batman V Superman and Justice League of course. Why is Michael Shannon cast as the bad guy in like every movie he's in? :)

At first i was picking at some of the things they changed in the storyline but after watching the whole movie i had to say i enjoyed it flaws and all. There were great special effects,great fight scenes,and the acting was pretty good. Zack Snyder did good hopefully the sequel can improve on the first outing...

Man of Steel was a good refresher before Batman vs Superman Dawn of Justice. It reminded me of how Zach Snyder told the origin story of Superman and how the citizens of planet Earth treat him. As this appears to be central to the plot line of Dawn of Justice, it seemed to go back and review.
