Really enjoyed this reboot of Superman. Especially enjoyed Diane Lane and Kevin Cosner as Clark;s parents. I enjoyed the way the early years of Clark were told in flashback instead of chronologically. Great picture and sound on this 4K disc. Recommended.

This movie was better than expected. Many details that I did not know from previous versions where brought to light in this one. Very clean and colorful on the big screen. Seemed to be over too quickly though. Felt there should have been a little more love in it like previous versions.

This is a great movie if you can suspend science for a little while, which is usually what movies are for - to take a little stroll down fantasy lane. The characters are fairly well developed, and the visuals are stunning. Some of the plot developments are a tad difficult to believe, but overall, a great film.

I really enjoy this more serious and “real” Superman, it’s not going to please purists but I’m glad DC tried to do something serious with comic movies for a while.

An excellent start to a new Superman franchise and Henry Cavill is an excellent choice for the new Superman. The cast is very good, with Michael Shannon as a fantastic Zod. The ending has some Superman purists on edge, but I felt it was an interesting take to explain how SM becomes the hero we know him to be.

I picked this movie up on sale for $9.99. I have a pretty good collection of action movies and figured for the price I couldn't pass this one up. I heard some not so great reviews of the movie and after watching it I was totally surprised by how good it was. Totally worth picking up.

Bought this solely for the art on the front by the legendary Jim Lee. Was surprised to find out the back had the same art in black and white. Such a great collector's piece and a must have for a DC film collector. Comes with digital code as well.

Great take on the superman movie...there will never be anything like the original. But, this movie has great action and tremendous sound effects. I was blown away by the sound. It was very (what I call) alien-esque. So if you do not like a big dose of sci-fi and aliens you may not like this take on superman.

I loved this movie and it’s soundtrack. It’s upconverted to 4K so it doesn’t look as good as a more recently released movie. The visuals are still good and once you go 4K, everything else is irrelevant.

Henry Cavill is the sexiest Superman ever! Best looking! Best body for Superman! Very good actor! Some great plot. Until the end, the two supermen ruining most of Metropolis goes on and on too long. Yes Superman saves the whole planet but the cost to a major city was ridiculous even in a comic book movie.

This movie is well-casted starting at the top with Cavill. He's a superb choice for someone who needs to convincingly convey innate modesty, occasional confusion and eventual strength this is spectacular sci-fi movie huge, operatic, melodramatic, and in the end impressive.

MAN OF STEEL delivers one of the most visual and dramatically rich films of the year. Brilliantly crafted and realized by director Zach Snyder, the film wastes not a moment in weaving a complex tapestry that redefines the greatest superhero in history on an unheard of epic scale.

The beginning of the movie dealing with Krypton is much better than in the original. So are the flashbacks of Clark Kent during his youth. If you're a fan of this hero you will not be disappointed with this version. Plus, 30 years of improving special effects doesn't hurt either.

Probably one of the best superman movies ever made in the modern era !!! Henry can bill aces it and Amy. Adams is a great Lois lane .. Russell crow is excellent as well as joe el .. Special effects are out of this world and it is a great story that is successfully rebooted !!!

Finally a decent super man, never thought I'd see it. Good action and a decent portrayal of his back story. Amy Adams is fantastic as usual and the chemistry between the two leads is great. Also looks super pretty in 4k. Not dark knight good but good enough for me.

When I heard Jim Lee was providing art for these Steelbooks I had to have them. I bought this one and Batman V Superman, can't wait to pick up Justice League as well. I don't know why Suicide Squad didn't get a Jim Lee cover as well sadly.

If you're a fan of the original superman series, this one will bound to be a pleaser. The opening 20 minutes gives the explanation of Superman's family and journey to Earth. Great special effects, action and classic U.S.A. Comic book classic storyline on the big screen

If the wackiness of "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" was too much for you, this is a more manageable story. The acting, action & characterization are pretty good. The story flows in a fairly clear way. You just have to roll with the crazy city-destroying battle at the end.

The film, alone, is reason enough to purchase this item, but the extras are second-to-none. The 2nd disc is the movie, itself, spliced with all sorts of behind-the-scenes goodies and exclusive interviews. It's a can't miss addition to your Blu-ray collection.
