I've always been a Superman fan, but I am not thrilled with the humorless tone to this movie. DC movies could learn a lesson from the fun of Marvel movies. But it was a good price for another addition to my 3D library, so I got it.

Say what you want about Man Of Steel: it's epic, colossal, and loud, all in a good way. Anything Zack Snyder (300, Watchmen) does, expect it to be visionary. Highly recommended.

People knock on this film for NO GOOD REASON. It is an excellent, real world telling of Superman. I think that's what annoys people.they are too much of themselves in it.

I've been a big fan since the first superman movie and I did enjoy this version. But as a fan I had trouble with the plot and thought the damage and lack of though to the well being of the populace was over the top. How can a hero be a hero when you put so many in danger.

It's been years since a Superman film came out and this film helped reinvent him for modern times despite the outcry from fanboys. This is a solid film right around the time the Avengers came to change the comic book film genre.

I have been a fan of Sups for ages. From the black and white serials to JL. This movie was a great reboot to one of the best superheros of all time. I would like to see more movies of this caliber from the DCU.

Never been a fan of SuperMan but this movie is without a doubt one of my favorite comic book films!

I don’t care what all the hater say, this movie is great. I will admit it’s not perfect, I wish Zach Snyder wouldn’t have taken so many creative liberties on the character, but it’s still a good movie.

I grew up a Superman fan. Christopher Reeves is my favorite Superman but, I really like Henry cavill in this depiction of Superman. Really good 4K & I only wish it came with a digital copy!!

Overall, I like Man of Steel. I have a qualms with the level of destruction towards the film's end, and the fate of Zod. But, this movie does look wonderful in HDR. And, the visual experience is worth it, if you can find it on sale.

The movie was just simply stunning. The visuals are amazing. The acting is superb. The action scenes will keep you on the edge of your seat. The emotional scenes will make you shed a tear. It's Everything you could ever want from a Superman movie!

Great movie for D.C. fans...the 4K difference on this one is not noticeable immediately, but it's there and why buy less than 4K at this point....it come with the regular blu ray....a couple more bucks to future proof now.

Much better than other superman. First of story like others, but there is more action even great visual. Compare Blu-ray and 4K - The picture and sound are better than regular Blu-ray. It is so much enjoyable movie. It is starting DC universe.

Although I enjoyed the movie I am most impressed by its video quality and audio perfection. I would recommend this buy for anyone who wants to test out a home theater system.

This movie kicks off my favorite DC series by snyder. The smart choices on emotion, value of life and struggle of right and wrong. Just excellent.

Wrong movie.. Not really. Man of Steel desperately tries to be one of Nolan's Batman movies. Doing so, it fails to deliver a great Superman movie. However, Man of Steel is still ok, and since it's going to be part of DC's Cinematic Universe It's worth watching.

I bought this cheap, I would say if you have the blu ray the 4k doesn't look much more detailed. Some places in the movie came off really bright. I bought this because it was super cheap on sale.

Beautiful 4k transfer! The movie is whatever you make of it; obviously I love it. Wish there was Dolby Vision but the HDR10 looks just as good!

I recently bought a HDTV w/3D capability and so being a Superman fan I bought my first 3D DVD. I liked the story and the quality of the DVD was great. There are a four disks regular DVD special features DVD blue ray DVD and blue ray DVD 3D

Like it or not, this is the Superman of the next Decade. The lines of the DC/WB Cinematic Universe begins here. The bold and difficult beats of this film make the best attempt, to date, to full realize and ground this 2 dimensional icon of a 2D comic universe.
