I wanted to see this movie to get ready for Superman v Batman, and I just didnt like it very much. It was a pretty slow movie.

No digital copy included in the box, tried to contact BB no response

Does not contain a working digital code. It expired over 3 years ago (2015).

Very disappointing. Continuing the trend of subpar Superman movies since the first few with Chris Reeve.

3d movies are great but for this title the price is grossly out of sync.

Best Superhero movie of all time. Hands down. It's my favorite movie of all time overall as well. So many perfect Superman nuances and such powerful messages throughout. This movie changed my life. Highly recommended!!

I am so glad that I found this on Blu Ray! It does have more grain than the 4K edition, which makes it look better in my opinion. I also prefer the color of the Blu Ray over the HDR on the 4K. Excellent film!

Best Superman ever,Henry cavil did a very awesome job playing Superman and I’m so waiting for the man of steel 2 to come out I had this movie on Blu-ray and dvd buy I also bought the 4K one because the dc movies are all my favorites any dc fan would add this to his or her collection

I really enjoyed this movie! I am very much a fan of Zack Snyder and his storytelling genre.

Man of steel is not only my favorite superman film ever made but Also one of my favorite comic book movies as well. The tone of this movie is great along with ridiculously amazing cinematography from start to finish.

*Warning* No digital code. BestBuy has been selling 4K UHD movies without any digital code compared to other vendors that do have a different version of the same movie. Of course we need another blu-ray instead with the 4K blu-ray. Make sure you check this is what you want. Movie is great!

This is definitely the Superman of this generation. It is an updated, modern version of the classic everyone loves. It has its differences from the Reeves movies, which is good because whats the point in making the same thing over and over again? Henry does really well at playing both Clark and Superman, with Amy Adams domination her role as Lois Lane. The battles between Superman and General Zod are intense, and the imagery is beautiful. Nothing beats a classic, but this is very close. A must buy.

Be warned, this is not your old school Superman. Anyone wanting Christopher Reeve's performance should not expect to find it here. That said, when I heard they were relaunching Superman after the failed "Superman Returns" (which tried to capture the tone of the old films), I figured they knew they had one shot to finally to really "wow" us with the scope and power our hero possesses; along with a worthy adversary. This film did not disappoint. Not only did it deliver on those fronts, it sets up a grounded world in which he can interact with other heroes in subsequent films. The extras were equally impressive as they delved into all aspects of the process. Highly recommended for those with a love with an unbiased love of the character and an open mind for a new direction.

This is finally the Superman film I've been waiting for! The film is well-paced with the major delight of Superman himself being humanized and made cool again. Kudos goes to David S. Goyer for writing a mature script and taking cues from some great Superman story-lines: Mark Waid's Birthright along with John Byrne's Man of Steel, Geoff John's Secret Origin & Last Son and J. Michael Straczynski's Earth-One. Henry Cavill is amazing as Superman, along with Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Russell Crowe as Jor-El, Kevin Costner as Jonathan Kent, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, and Michael Shannon as General Zod. One of my favorite directors, Zack Snyder delivers on the mind-blowing action but also the emotional character moments of the film. Finally, due to all the criticism on character development, I'm certain that was intentional seeing as the origin story for Superman is very rigid and this film served to show why he becomes Superman and therefore reporter Clark Kent. Overall, I'd recommend this movie to a Superman Fan, Great Movie!

I don't understand how some people critiziced this movie because it was too dark. I guess they wanted to see Superman catch burglars, take cats down from trees, help old ladies cross the street. To me personally it's my favorite superhero flick of all time, better than the Avengers and some other cheesy Marvel overrated flicks. Way different than any of the current superhero movies. From beginnig to end it's pure action and great detailed CGI effects. On some movies I don't like too much CGI, but on Man Of Steel it was necessary and done beautifully. When I saw it at the theater, I came out really satisfied, got my money's worth and bought it on Blu-ray as soon as it came out.

Loved this movie from beginning to end...Really explains the struggles a person would have if they were super human...and showing that even having super powers does not make you all powerful on the inside.

This movie is great for action affiocionados and fans of Superman. If you've ever wondered what a live action Superman movie could be - this is it! The action in Man of Steel delivers what you'd expect out of a character like Superman - the destructive super powers innate to the character. Where the movie fails is its weak characterizations of the supporting characters. Only Jonathan, Martha, and Jor-El get any real screen time outside of Superman. Lois and the rest of the gang are underdeveloped. But all these complaints aren't really that bad, you can tell that this movie is more of a prequel to the story we all know from the comics. Instead we get to see more of Kyrpton and its culture and we get more of the Kyrptonian story. By the end, you can see all the elements of the Superman story are set up and where it can go from here.

Im not going to give a super long review here but i will tell you that this is a very solid 5 star movie all the way around...soo much went into this move and it really shows...and the special features in this blu-ray set are extensive and very interesting. also everyone who stared in this film was a perfect choice for their roles i really can't wait to see what the next man of steel movie will be like because it's going to be very tough to top this one...

The "Man of Steel" movie is both action and plot heavy, dealing with complex spiritual issues as well as what it means to be human. On the other hand, the action is heavy-handed, with punches, bullets, and other weaponry being thrown at people on a regular basis. This combination of depth and intensity creates a powerful film, both visually as well as in theme. The performance of the story was breathtaking. As expected, the visuals were stunning; the special effects were phenomenally crisp and the scope of the camera was often wide, presenting the scenery itself as a spectacle. The acting was exceptional as well

Let me start by saying that I know a more than the average fan about his comics backstory, so I can see why some fans would be upset about Snyder's story choices and deviations from canon and I like to burn movies that deviate from canon; however I actually enjoy the majority of Man of Steel for the movie it is. Snyder presents a fresh take on Superman's origin story that was mostly successful with some faults and I do agree that this gritty tone didn't really jive with Superman's more uplifting character. But is does show that in the real world, life comes with some hard decisions and with those choices everyone does get a little dirty.
