I love this monopod and keep it attached to the camera for faster use. It allows pictures to be taken at all heights and offers stability from shaky hands. It is easier for me to carry the camera with the monopod attached at all times except when the camera is out of use for an extended period of time.

I bought this because at shoots I'm constantly on the run capturing events and shots of clients' business. It's important for me to be real mobile, but also have a quality steady shot. This is great! I used it for quick interviews, and for getting some great b-roll shots.

Manfrotto just does it right and goes well with my Manfrotto tripod and this Mono pod holds my Eight pound Camera, long lens and battery grip with ease, Best Buy was exceptional as always and I bought it when on sale Half Off.

I love the durability of the stand and the fact that it storage very easy. I didn't want a tripod for taking out and it being bulky I didn't want to bother with that hassle. This makes it easy and and hope one day the will make a tripod similar to this. As you can see I used the manfrotto anywhere so I can get

This was a Christmas present this year and I have really enjoyed using it at my son's hockey games and can't wait to use it at my daughter's soccer games in the spring.

I bought it to take pictures from a cruise liner in the Keys and the Bahamas. I could move all around the ship and take good steady pics in an instant when I didn't have time to set up my tripod.

I used this to put my dslr camera on while taking a video of the wedding. I was able to put the camera close to my body so it isn't blocking other people's view. Videos came out steady.

This is my first monopod and I'm really happy with it. Was torn between this and the cheap Dynex, but I'm happy I spend the extra money. Seems durable. I've had no problems with it.

This monopod is durable enough to fulfill its purposes and reasonably priced. If you need a monopod with a pan/tilt head, you'll need a more elaborate model. But if a basic monopod is all you need, this one proved itself a worthy investment on its first project.

This is not cheap and flimsy monopod. A solid monopod that will stay for life. My only regret is that I should have a bought lighter weight model.
