Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the 290 Tripod with Fluid Video Head's stability, lightweight design, and ease of use. Many appreciate the quality build and the smooth operation of the fluid head, which enhances adjustability. However, some users noted challenges with panning and the mounting plate, including missing components in some instances. Overall, the positive feedback on the tripod's key features outweighs the reported minor drawbacks.

    Not the greatest tripod

Not too heavy and it holds a camera upright. Past that I dont have much to say that is positive. The head is very limited in the positions available and it constantly gets wobbly because the head unscrews from the base after you reposition it a few times..... I just couldnt afford a $600 peak design so I guess you get what you pay for.

This is a nice lightweight tripod that works great for my Nikon Z6. I wish the head rotated from landscape to portrait, otherwise very solid.

It works. Manfrotto is known for making great stuff. The mount plate is a standard size, so my existing plates will work with it. My problem is it's just... it feels too light weight and flimsy. Even with a DSLR on it - No cage, no lights or heavy accessories - Just a DSLR with a little mic on top, it struggles with the weight. Does it work? Yes. Is it realistically the best tripod BestBuy had in stores that day with a fluid head? Yes. Would I get it again? Probably not.

For the features better would be to get something cheaper or affordable, this item is not worthy the price for the same item with others brands you can pay way less

I bought this to replace a Benro that was stolen. While the price was reasonable I am still working out the extent of the tripod's capabilities. The big shortcoming is when trying to level it. The head only changes position when the legs are adjusted in or out. It would be nice if the legs could be planted and the tripod head itself could be set to level independently
