Great except....

Great Tri-pod

Been using it to take night photos of the sky when we’re able to drive up in the mountains to a dark sky location. Only complaint is that when purchased it was missing a screw. I went on Amazon and had to buy a new platform but I mean I guess I have a spare now.

It works, but it's not impressive.

The mount plate is a standard size, so my existing plates will work with it. My problem is it's just... it feels too light weight and flimsy. Even with a DSLR on it - No cage, no lights or heavy accessories - Just a DSLR with a little mic on top, it struggles with the weight. Does it work? Yes. Is it realistically the best tripod BestBuy had in stores that day with a fluid head? Yes. Would I get it again? Probably not.

While the price was reasonable I am still working out the extent of the tripod's capabilities. The big shortcoming is when trying to level it. The head only changes position when the legs are adjusted in or out. It would be nice if the legs could be planted and the tripod head itself could be set to level independently
