Customers regard the 60" Tripod favorably for its ease of use, lightweight design, compact size, and affordable price. Many appreciate its quick release feature and portability, making it ideal for travel. However, some users express concerns about stability, particularly when fully extended, and find the ball head's performance and panning capabilities less than ideal. Improvements to the tripod's sturdiness and the smoothness of its panning mechanism are suggested by some users.

Good Tripod with wiggly lower legs

The overall build of this tripod is good (used with a Canon 70D DSLR) but the smallest/lowest legs are a bit wiggly. I have only had it for a few weeks and will have to see the durability of them but initially, they seem to move around a lot. The good thing is that once they are locked open they tighten up fairly well.

I got this on a shopping binge, but I'm glad I bought it. Good tripod with lots of features, then only down side is that it's not good for tall people. At 6'2" I have to lean down to take pictures and videos, and it would be nice to be able to stay at eye level, but overall it is a good product.

Overall this is a very versatile little tripod. The ball mount gives you a great range of motion allowing you to put your camera at just the right angle.
The only downside I see to this tripod is the bottom most leg, they are too thin and do not have a sturdy feel, especially if there is even the slightest of breezes.

For the price this time is a good investment. It's lightweight, strong, study and sets up and collapses fast. I have two issues with this item.
1. The proprietary screw that attaches the camera to the tripod. I have a grip strap for my 7D Mark II which ahs the quick release mount and each time I have to unscrew the strap and screw in the proprietary mount and that screw can be easily lost rendering the mount useless.
2. The handle doesn't feel sturdy for a heavy camera. My rig weighs close to 4 pounds with the flash. Adjusting the camera to level takes some care in that it feels like the camera will fall of the mount. But it won't. This item is ideal for a light camera.

Works the way that I need it to. Ball joint and easy release plate are nice features. I bought two extra plates from B&H Photo Video online. The part is Round-PL (or RROUND-PL). I've used this with a Canon SL1 and a Nokia Lumia 1020. I have an Arkon attachment for the cellphone.

Did lots of research before purchasing this tripod. I know the Manfrotto name is one of the best in tripods so I searched the Best Buy website for this product and reviews from others. The tripod was purchased in store & the sales person answered my questions even demonstrating all the features on the demo tripod for me. In my use of the tripod, it is everything I hoped for -- it is very sturdy and holds my Nikon D40 camera with my go-to 18-270 mm lens with no problem at all. The joystick & ball head are easy to use & have a smooth action. I am very pleased with my purchase. I love it!!

My first tripod. Supports my NIKON d3300 easily-the locking system for the camera base is strong and satisfying to use. The camera can be rotated in all angles, or limited to pan, something useful for filming. Stores easily, everything is good to go as far as I can tell. Pleased with this purchase.

I needed a tripod that would store in my backpack and still be sturdy enough to do the job of stabilizing my DSLR (Canon EOS 70D). This tripod fit the bill perfectly! The price is also very reasonable!

I was excited to take this tripod home, unfortunately that is where the excitement ended.
For $70 it is cheap for a manfrotto, but expensive for a general tripod.
Overall, the build quality was okay, but nothing to write home about. The main issue was the ball head. The ball head was not really smooth and completely unuseable for any kind of panning or video. Secondly the switch on the tripod was a bit wobbly so overall it just did not feel secure.
Ended up returning the tripod.
