Customers regard the 60" Tripod favorably for its ease of use, lightweight design, compact size, and affordable price. Many appreciate its quick release feature and portability, making it ideal for travel. However, some users express concerns about stability, particularly when fully extended, and find the ball head's performance and panning capabilities less than ideal. Improvements to the tripod's sturdiness and the smoothness of its panning mechanism are suggested by some users.

Perfect price and a quality looking tripod for our son. Compact enough for travel but large enough to safely hold a large camera.

Very easy to use. The build quality is very good. The height is adjustable to many levels. The handle makes this so easy to move the camera in the angles you want.

I bought this as a last minute need while doing a video production. It's not bad at all for the price and it retracts to a small portable size. Just a little hard to adjust to be level sometimes

Great travel tripod

The Manfrotto - 60" Compact Action Tripod is quick to set up & locks into position securely, even with a larger DSLR camera. The threaded socket ball mounting system makes it easy to attached the camera to the tripod in seconds. The only negative is in rotating the camera from landscape to portrait position. But this is inherent design issue with most any ball joint tripod head assembly.. I have a larger, much heavier Manfrotto 72" tripod that is a great tripod for studio work - however it is too heavy for easy portability. In conclusion, this is a great little travel tripod.

I love this tripod. It is small and compact, yet sturdy enough for my DSLR and lenses. The best feature is the pistol grip ball head. It is so easy to use!! Also, I like the way your camera connects to the tripod with a unique "plate" which is actually a round knob that can stay on your camera all the time, and then easily slips into the tripod when you need it. It locks on tight!! I have never had it get loose as sometimes happens with traditional tripod plates. this also folds up small enough to fit in a carry on suitcase for easy travel. I love this tripod so much that I have 2 of them!

I have not tried to take pictures with it yet. Except to try the camera on it. It swivels great but I am worried if my Camera is to heavy for it possibly causing it to be top heavy.

The tripod is one of the best I have ever used. Very simple and allows you to quickly fake your camera from the top of the tripod without unscrewing it.

I purchased this stand as a replacement stand for our previous DSLR camera stand. This stand is sturdy, and isn't as flemsy as our previous stand. It does the job

I travel extensively, and shoot "man on the street" videos. I needed a light weight, sturdy tripod that will fit in my suitcase. The legs are sturdy, the friction locks are well made and functional, and the pistol grip head control is outstanding. When I arrive at a new city I attach the Sony NX30 video camera to the retracted tripod and carry the whole setup in one hand. When I find a good background for a video I can set up (and tear down) in two minutes. This baby is also MUCH lighter than my other tripods and functions just as well. I have no complaints. If this one wears out I'll replace it with another of the same make and model.
