Customers are saying

Customers commend the Compact Action Smart 61" Tripod for its sturdiness, lightweight design, and affordability, finding it ideal for travel due to its compact size and compatibility with various devices. However, some users experienced challenges with the panning feature, the lack of a built-in level, and the phone holder's stability. Concerns were also raised regarding the tripod head's maneuverability and the reliability of the locking mechanism.

We bought this tripod so my daughter could use it for her photography class. It's very sturdy! She loves all the attachments that easily fit on a camera or cellphone. This tripod has multiple height adjustments that make any photo opportunity look great!

Works well for phone with included attachment and iPad with additional purchased attachment. Got this for virtual appointments but fond it also works great for family and friend FaceTime and Zoom. Also purchased one for my mom and recommended to others who have purchased.

I needed a TriPod that I could use with my DSLR, that was also capable of being used with a smartphone. This hits all the nails on the head! I'm 5'10" and it goes high enough for my liking and low enough to use on a desktop or table. VERY stable. Love the versatility.

Is it the most fluid ball head? No. Is it the most durable? No. However, I find myself grabbing this tripod every time I’m on a spur of the moment trip to shoot. It’s simple, fast, lightweight, and effective. I’ll always keep one of these around when I don’t need a high end tripod (rarely).

I am glad I did not skimp on another tripod. I have a Nikon D5300 and this tripod is perfect for my needs. Very sturdy and solid with a 360 rotating top. The camera once clipped into the mount I have no fears of it falling or moving during taking pictures. Very pleased with this tripod.

I've been wanting one for so long I don't know why I waited forever especially with how unexpensive it was. I was doing a maternity photoshoot and really wanted sharp images. It definitely made me not worried about any blurred images. They were very happy.

I’ve had quite a few photo tripods in my day and I’ve never really been happy with them for a long period of time. They have always lost their tension or other things like that. My use of this tripod has been the exception and is very easy to use, can handle the weight of my DSLR camera, and is quite versatile and fun and it’s use. The handle mechanism for tightening and loosening the pivoting head is very handy and provides for great adaptability and angles. I really enjoy the mounting piece as it makes it easy to adapt to multiple devices, however I can see that it might be a little more difficult to keep track of because it is very small. The inclusion of a phone mount was a very welcome piece as well.

I bought this for my wife to use with her cell phone. It holds a cell phone well. The included cell phone attachment is almost not big enough for the Pixel XL. We haven't put anything larger than a phone on it, but I would definitely recommend looking at it in a store for anything heavier. Be careful when purchasing in the store though. If it is supposed to come with a free item you will most likely not get the free item. I have had to contact customer support at least 5 times now being told to call another department or be transferred and I still do not have the code for a shutterfly photo book. And no, it is not in my spam folder or junk mail.

I picked this up because I needed a spare tripod and I trust the Manfrotto brand. So far after 3 weeks of use, it's well made and pretty sturdy. Expanding the legs to the full 61" height can be done in a few seconds. A big bonus is this is pretty light so you won't get tired of lugging this around along with a larger or mid-size DSLR. Certainly you will have no problem with a much smaller digital point and shoot camera. The smartphone adapter attachment is a very nice free attachment so capturing long exposure photos from the phone with no blur is no problem and capturing video without any jitter is also nice. *There are apps for your phone both IOS and Android that can get capture extremely long exposure shots, give you full manual control of your camera lens/photos. I had no problem connecting my Canon 5D MIII to this with a dual battery pack and a smaller 50mm or 85mm lens. However it can be a little tricky with longer heavier 200mm lens though, even when the lens itself is mounted directly to the tripod - at this point the entire camera can become just a tad too heavy for this particular tripod. There are far more expensive Manfrotto tripods out there - well into the $150 - $200 and higher range, for this price you are still getting a decent well made product.

Manfrotto at a great price point! It's perfect for my needs as I shoot video and stills. It's easy to tote around on my backpack or in hand with camera attached. I was worried a bit about the bottom sections being very thin, but it has not failed me yet. It holds a Sony a7s II without worries.

We enjoy taking family photos at gatherings. This tripod allows everyone in the photo. It’s very sturdy, has the capability to be flexible, allows my to use both my camera & iPhone. Also cones with a very nice carrying case.

Overall, a nice light tripod. I use it on short day trips with a lot of walking. The camera locks securely in place. The tripod head can be a bit cumbersome when you want to rotate the camera on it's side (i.e. to take a portrait type photo). Other than that, it's a good tripod.

Strong and sturdy. The only thing I wish I could do was detach the handle to walk around with my phone filming. You can pull out the mount but you still have that center leg dangling.

Although I did a little research on tripods, this was a las minute purchase. This tripod is awesome. I've used to make videos and record soccer games and it's awesome. One day it was so windy and it kept my phone still.

What are the best tripods I’ve ever had, very sturdy and robust, a couple extra factors is that it comes with a phone mount which is very handy and just using your phone! Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good inexpensive tripod

This is a sturdy, multifunctional tripod that works great with our camera. I really like the control knob for locking it in place as well as the handle for shooting videos. This product design was well thought out and well built.

Use this for travel and it is extremely compact. The old disconnect t system is annoying if you loose the knob portion but this mount comes through in a bind and is worth its weight in gold.
