Customers are saying

Customers commend the Compact Action Smart 61" Tripod for its sturdiness, lightweight design, and affordability, finding it ideal for travel due to its compact size and compatibility with various devices. However, some users experienced challenges with the panning feature, the lack of a built-in level, and the phone holder's stability. Concerns were also raised regarding the tripod head's maneuverability and the reliability of the locking mechanism.

I bought this tripod for our 5th wheel camper to leave in there for when I needed one. It's a fast setup, which was important, a speedy handle for directing, and stable for long videos. It comes with a cell phone holder as well for convenience. The travel bag is great as well.

When taking portraits a good tripod is a necessary tool. This tepid works great, steady stable and very versatile. I used fully extended for sitting pictures as well as legs retracted and place on table top

I quite like this tripod for its simplicity and ease of use. I enjoy the fact that to move the camera around there is a single handle rather than the dual ones. I also like the quality. I don't use it super heavily, but I have been impressed the times I have used it.

I bought this for a backpacking trip so that I would still have a full size tripod, but it would be as lightweight as possible. I don't do any really long distance or close up photography so I don't need all the bells and whistles that other tripods offer. If you're looking for a great lightweight tripod I definitely recommend this one.

Great tripod for photo or video use. The cell phone adapter has come in very handy. The locking wheel is very convenient for quickly locking your tripod into place. Would definitely purchase again, highly recommended.

Quite pleased with it. Easy to adjust length of legs. Clamps are firm. Folds nicely into included bag for transport. We use it to hold cell phone to video lectures for upload and sharing. The cell phone clamp is sturdy and clamps firmly, though it can be a little hassle to get the Moto G4 phone with an Otter Box into it. The tilt and pan head is a bit over overkill for our application, yet it is very easy to adjust and as of this week has functioned flawlessly. The "quick release" button is an interesting gimmick, would be quite useful to have a few of the buttons if we were swapping devices regularly. We are happy with the price and the immediate availability from our local store.

Really great first time ever buying maker tripod that goes over range of 50 to100. Kind of realize why certain tripods are so expensive because it does job done well. Highly recommended

This tripod is very easy to use and definitely compact. I was a little surprised at how light-weight it is at first and concerned with the durability because it seems so light, but after a few uses it seems to be quite solid. The low weight is also very helpful when carrying around a backpack full of equipment.

I never knew why Manfrotto brand tripods were so expensive compared to other brands but now I know! Stability and endurance of this tripod is incredible and I don’t have to worry about my Sony A7 III toppling over.

Tripod is great for my online business videos. Sturdy and not wobbly. Would have given it 5 stars if the attachment holding my phone wasn't so stiff/hard to get around my phone. Once I removed my phone case it was a little easier.

I got this tripod to use for creating demo videos for my business. I love how flexible it is and securely built. I also love that it comes with an attachment to use with your phone, since that is my primary mode of capturing videos. The 360 rotation works orders if you have a standard camera mounted to the tripod, but when using your phone, there is more limited range of motion. For example, you aren’t able to tilt the head of the tripod to film something that is directed downward to look at what the floor from straight above or view your hands from above if you’re demonstrating how to do something. I had to buy an additional attachment that allowed for increased range of motion when using my phone. But that’s only necessary if you’re planning on using the tripod to reach angles that go beyond a 90 degree angle when using your phone. But I use it for all of my videos and it works wonderfully.

Great tripod. Sturdy product and may be used in multiple configurations. The included phone mount is great. I do wish it included more than one camera mount so you can switch from phone to camera quicker.

Manfrotto is the way to go for tripods. This is sturdy with a very small adapter. So small that I just leave it on the camera. Plus, you can always get more adapters for your other tripod mount items.

I bought this for my girlfriend and she loves it. I hate taking selfies but matched this with her blu tooth clicker and it makes pictures and video fun. Sturdy, reliable, and great overall product. Will purchase another one for my sister who loves pictures too.

This tripod has pretty good ergonomics. The only thing that was a slight hit was that there was some vertical tilting after locking out the vertical movement. Otherwise a very solid tripod! I use this with a Tamron 70-200 2.8 G2 mounted on a Canon 80d. Even with all that weight, it's very solid.

I've been using a Manfrotto brand tripod from the 1980's and finally purchased a replacement. I had no idea how much better they have gotten and I'm super happy with it.
