Customers are saying

Customers commend the Compact Action Smart 61" Tripod for its sturdiness, lightweight design, and affordability, finding it ideal for travel due to its compact size and compatibility with various devices. However, some users experienced challenges with the panning feature, the lack of a built-in level, and the phone holder's stability. Concerns were also raised regarding the tripod head's maneuverability and the reliability of the locking mechanism.

Great value for the quality of this tripod! I feel like this isn't sturdy enough for strong winds, but then again, I don't ever see myself using this if there are strong winds passing by. But this is a great light weight travel friendly tripod for those who are on a budget!

Seems like a really good quality/durable tripod especially since it’s since a compact one. I haven’t fully used it yet, but exited to use it on my upcoming trips.

I am happy with my purchase. It is easy to set up. It’s easy to switch from using the tripod for a camera or cell phone. It’s lightweight and I like the bag it can with, which makes it easy to transport.

Definitely good stand holds my camera vary still, although maybe the tilting sideways doesn’t always stay exactly still but hardly noticeable, other then that it’s great and gets up high to

This tripod is the best one I’ve owned. I’m not a professional photographer but I found it very easy to use, I found it very versatile too, the iPhone adapter was really nice. Great quality too.

I originally bought this tripod for a last minute wedding shoot because of how compact it was. It's become an integral part of my kit when I do any outdoor photography work. It's fairly straight foward to use and it's lightweight and compact enough to travel with.

I love this tripod! With 4 positions to lengthen the legs it is quite versatile. You can also angle to head of the tripod by using the roller adjustment on the handle. Compact, sturdy yet versatile. We love it!

For what this product is intended for I find it perfect. The swivel head works great for video and would probably do fine with smaller dslr or mirrorless caneras. If you are planning on using this as a tripod for photography keep in mind the face plate isnt designed for arca swiss or an L bracket attatchment. As far as a video camera goes the small circular lock is so simple to use its great. Also you can remove the center column easily if you wanted to ditch the legs and use as a monopod. The actual tripod legs are quite lights but have yet to have a gust blow this over. Good solid product

Excellent tripod. Not professional grade of course, but very sufficient for most applications. My only comment is the ball system which should have steps to make it easier to level, but that's a standard problem throughout the Manfrotto line.

As a short, to mid-range tripod, this works fairly well. The pistol grip is nice, but the locking mechanism is not very reliable, for longer zoom. Because of the longer lens, the head needs to be locked a little tighter, to support the weight. Doing so the camera drifts from where you lock it, to where it settles. Usually losing the subject. Frame is very sturdy, mount is a little different, but works well. Holds very steady, at shorter distances, but at higher zoom, is hard to get locked on subject. Nikon D900
