It makes a really secure mount for action cams, cell phones, and even the bigger DSLR cameras. The pistol grip is a unique and functional way to control movement and lock of the position. The attachment method is unique, but it makes it very easy to swap whatever you want to attach to the top. The folding latches on the legs make a very secure clasp, and the locking knobs feel quality and confident all the way around. I'm really pleased with this tripod, and will be using it for a variety of purposes!
