Excellent warm sound. Music in movie is significantly better than the extremely expensive B&K I replaced. Easy to use. Printed owners manual and used a reem of paper. Nothing left to the imagine. Bravo.

So far this receiver has been great. It has too many features to describe but I really like the fact that it will pass the sound to the TV without the receiver being on. Then I can turn on the receiver when I want to enjoy surround sound. Hooks up easily with all the other components and speakers.

Open box item that was in good working condition. The receiver took some getting accustomed to as the setup was not as user friendly as I had expected. Once the setup was completed the sound in my opinion was average at best. The receiver seems to lack oomph.

Great AV receiver! Does everything we have asked of it clearly and easily. Set up was a bit challenging but once that was accomplished we could not be more pleased. Also, it worked with the Xfinity will easily.

Lots of power and worth the spend. I upgraded from Onkyo and was told if I went with Marantz I would not be disappointed. So far I have not and this unit is easy to set up, calibrate and operate out of the box.

Sound Quality is outstanding. Ease of setting up as a replacement unit is appreciated. Unit is expensive relative to other receivers available on market, but worth the investment if part of a home theater configuration.

High quality product. HEOS leaves a little to be desired, but I don’t blame Marantz for that. Setup is easy. Customization is endless. Give this unit space to breathe to minimize heat.

Super clean sound for music and movies. Paired with Martin Logan’s motion series speakers and rel subwoofer. Music sounds better than I’ve ever heard before. Set up through the tv is easy enough.

I love Marantz, I purchased a 2325 receiver years ago when overseas in the military. For the cost of this receiver, you'd think Marantz would have produced it with a larger LED screen, maybe in a rectangle bar rather than this dumb small fish eye screen.

It is the Receiver that has a cleaner and sharpest sound than I have heard. But I had to return it to the store, I was over heated. They should modify it and adapt a range to them.

When it worked it produced good sound, but had to return because it wouldn't recognize that music was playing via Bluetooth so it would shut off after a few minutes. I get electronics malfunction and that's not why I gave this only 2 stars, it was the functionality and Marantz customer service. I use an amp to power sound throughout my home so plugged it into the zone 2 port, and I found that I really enjoy putting music or games on frequently throughout my home. Yet just getting to the All Zone Mode took a number of steps on the on-screen menu, and then once it's going and you need to answer a call or otherwise turn the entire sound system down, you need to select each zone and mute/turn down, OBNOXIOUS. What's the point of an All Zone Mode if the remote, when in that mode, does not control ALL ZONES?!?! I called Marantz re this because I could not believe that a higher end receiver manufacturer like them would make such an idiotic function setting, and the dude 1) could not follow what I was talking about; 2) could not care less about what I was saying; and 3) after realizing what I was talking about, confirmed there's no way to control both zone's volume in All Zone Mode with one button. Being that this dude probably got the job through his uncle and didn't actually know anything about Marantz, I called Geek Squad to confirm same. If you're looking for a functional, multi-zone receiver with knowledgeable customer service techs, steer clear big tuna, head for open waters/other models.

This was purchased for my in-laws who are losing their hearing. Their previous Denon had been working fine for a couple of years, but as their hearing has gone, they are turning the volume up more. Running 4 Ohm Martin Logan speakers, it was putting the Denon into protection mode. As I run Marantz in several rooms in my house, I gave this a try, and I am happy that I did. Sound quality is great, and there is plenty of head room. We tested loud enough that I couldn't stand to be in the room and it didn't fail.

This is a great receiver if you are looking for a 7.2 system. If you want to go with 9,11,or 13.2 go for the higher end models. 7.2 is fine for my needs and I didn’t need to get the next model up. Sound quality for music and movies is great. I didn’t like HEOS or the app, so I added a Bluesound Node 2i for full MQA and high resolution audio streaming.

I've had Marantz receivers for over 30 years, but the SR5015 is the best of all. I have a 7.1 system and I hardly use much of the potential power it outputs. Output signals are so clean and crisp, I can only describe it as awesome. The HEOS feature is great. I can play streaming music with ease, and it sounds as good as a CD. Price is a bit high, but well worth it.

This is the nicest reviver we have ever owned. Music is crystal clear. Combined with our KEF speakers were hearing sounds we’ve never heard. Use the microphone for setup it’s worth the fifteen minutes. Movies and satellite we had to do some setup. Voices were a little muffled. We used dynamic compression with a heavy setting for blue ray and light setting for satellite and it’s perfect.
