I have a new smart TV that wouldn't connect with. I tried 2 different receivers and I had the same problem. I'm pretty savvy with Home Theater electronics and it wouldn't work. I even had the Geek Squat try to connect it. No success. That's a lot of money for a receiver and it has a connectivity problem with a Samsung smart TV. Marantz has to do better.

Posted .We are unaware of any Samsung compatibility issues with Samsung. Perhaps a setting was required in both the TV and or the receiver. For 8K, 8K enhanced will need to be activated in the receiver. Ultra High-Speed HDMI cables are also required for eARC.
