Have all the settings to adjust on iPad or phone. Sooo nice and effortless. I research for weeks over the perfect AVR and found it. Lots of power and adjustments what’s not to love..

In a word "fabulous". Easy to install right out of the box. Beautiful design. User friendly.

Works quite well for my purposes. Takes a little getting used to--different apps on my phone require different inputs on the amp. But once you figure it out, sounds great for the price.

Marantz has come a long way with the slim line series. This is no exception for this full featured receiver. If you were going to run this in a 2.1 or 3.1 set up, it will be perfect for your small towers or your bookshelves. However if you are looking for a full 5.1 surround sound or larger, you will need a something with a bigger amplifier. This does have a lot of of pre-outs on it so you can use with a separate amplifier, however, if you were looking for everything new all in one component for a larger system, you will need to consider the of the Cinema line of receivers to power your system.

My new Marantz Cinema A/V Home Theater Receiver is the workhorse of my home theater system. Its sleek low profile makes for a beautiful piece of equipment. I'm not gonna lie, it was installed 11 days ago and I am still on a learning curve to figure out how to operate it to the best of it's ability.

It's a marantz... Second one for me and absolutely love this system jam packed with features with low profile which was a must for me!! Great power and features it pushes plenty of power to make a great sound!!!! Front display is absolutely awesome as its super sharp and will make any system look super visually appealing.

The Cinema 70S home theater receiver is a very compact and nice looking unit. The reason for only 3 stars is 1. the audessy speaker calibration system doesn't really work, so, I had to manually make adjustments. 2. The price is very high for what you get. I was willing to pay it to get the small size.

I like the surround sound using two sub and pre amp with one amp. And I like the size of of receiver and look

Great replacement for my SR6007. I was wanting the 4K processing that the 6007 didn’t have. Since I’m using the receiver as a preamp for my Marantz power amp, the fact that the new receiver only has 50 watts per channel was moot. Having really good luck with it so far. My only gripe is the online owners manual instead of a hard copy.

Simply awesome processor plenty of power as is or utilize the pre amp out… very happy with this little box

Overall this is a nice unit, and it is a decent upgrade from my AV7701. This is a reasonably priced receiver that also supports external amplification, which I needed. I would like it much better if it had dual HDMI outputs. A low level stereo output would also help a lot. I use this unit to supply video and audio to a secondary room in addition to the local Home Theater environment. The problem I have is twofold. Having only one HDMI output forces me to use an HDMI "splitter" to create a secondary output for this second room. Unfortunately, the output from this unit has no audio because it knows the audio is being done by the receiver. So no audio goes to the second room. To work around this I needed to split the signal before it goes to the secondary space, which forces me to do it before it goes into the receiver. That way the HDMI signal still includes audio. But that also means that I cannot use the selection abilities of the receiver to switch between my 4K disk player and my AppleTV 4k. Luckily I normally use the AppleTV, but this is a significant issue for me. Why can't the HDMI output include audio? The TV can be set not to use it, or to have the volume muted. This is a very disappointing weakness for me. Otherwise, it is nice. I like the shorter height as well.
