I had read reviews that said there was a "slight hiss" but I ordered anyways and should have listened. I didn't even think to check at first but when it's muted the hiss is more than slight in my opinion. Going to be returning

It seems a little better at higher volumes. Overall the noise makes the M1 unusable. So, it will be going back.
