Was replacing an older Denon unit of 10 years which I had loved, and learned that Marantz was the sibling brand with some premium components. Though the 8015 was tempting, the 7015 really fits all my needs with many of the same quality improvements over the lower models (SHARC DSP, Copper Screws, Larger Frame). Airplay 2 works very well for my music needs, until I can pick up a record player for the dedicated analog input. If you aren't aware of Bi-Amping, it's a great feature that'll produce phenomenal sounding 7 channel experience on this receiver, with option for 2 additional channels if you utilize as a pre-amp. This is my first Atmos experience at home, and after mounting ceiling speakers, I must say it was well worth the hassle (though there are options which bounce off the ceiling too). My first attempting setting up eARC was a breeze using an LG CX, and when enabling airplay for music, it doesn't turn on the TV thankfully. Unless you have a massive room needing more power/speakers for, the 8015 really isn't necessary. I would highly recommend picking up the AC Infinity T9 cooling unit for this, as it matches the style and will prolong the life of this amazing receiver (see attached photos). Banana plug friendly but know that you'll need a few inches behind the unit, especially if choosing 12 gauge cables (you totally should).

I recently purchased the Marantz SR7015 and have been nothing short of impressed with its outstanding performance. This unit has quickly become the heart of my home theater system, delivering an unrivaled audio experience that leaves me continuously in awe. First and foremost, the power output is commendable. It fills up my large living room with ease and still maintains excellent sound quality at high volumes. I was immediately taken by how clean and pure the audio came across, no matter the source. In conclusion, if you're in the market for a high-quality AV receiver, I can't recommend the Marantz SR7015 highly enough. I like the warmth of this receiver when listening to music. Sounded great with movies too. It’s my first Marantz ever and all I can say is it does a lot. At 100 watts per channel it’s pretty powerful as an all purpose receiver rather than separates. Kudos to Best Buy as I started buying more and larger speakers (SVS) I decided to trade up to the SR 8015 at 140 watts per channel I felt it would suit the addition of bigger speakers. But the SR 8015 is 900$ more and unless you have the cash and the need it’s virtually the same receiver so stick with the SR 7015 It’s extremely well built and easy to set up and sounds great you can’t go wrong!

This is a unit worth every$$$!! After set up by Geek Squad, I used Audyssey for the speakers perfect set up (Q750 Front and Q350 rear plus SVS 2000Pro Sub), which it properly tuned . I then adjusted the custom EQ settings until I got the exact sound I have always wanted my music to release. This is superb!!! Marantz is a unit I would highly recommend . Beautiful!!

Cons: Because the item was an open box and showed "Fair" under the condition, It did not bring a remote, the Odyssey mic, or any of the components that would normally come in the original package. That being said, I was able to purchase the remote and Odyssey mic, along with instructions online and let me tell you, I am not disappointed. After calibrating the Marantz SR7015 to pair with my Bower & Wilkins 600 series towers, Center channel, surround left & right, and ceiling speakers, I was absolutely blown away with the immersive sound this receiver has provided. I am thoroughly impressed with how warm and rich the my movies sound. This item was a "No Brainer" to purchase for under $1k. I highly recommend this and any other Marantz receiver for those who are looking for the next level experience in home theater.

Excellent sound would’ve given five stars but the remote and menus for set up bar not that easy to navigate

Bought this receiver to replace a Denon 3311 that couldn’t pass up to 8k through it. Honestly, too bad because I loved that receiver. However, I couldn’t be more pleased with this unit. Does everything I want with room for me to expand further still. Only had it two weeks but so far very happy with this purchase!

This receiver has the absolute worst Bluetooth connection of any electronic item I've ever owned. Listening to staticky music makes instantly want to turn it off. Not to mention switching between sources is a nightmare. I have to turn the receiver off then back on for the tv screen to come on. When everything works properly it sounds great. I waited 2 month's before reviewing. t's not me. This's my second one

This receiver is Amazing!!! Sound/ functionality/ Power / Specs/ Aesthetics. Did I say What a sound? video capabilities amazing . eARC works amazing as long as you have the right 8K 48gb cable. Worth every penny I spent. I got the SR6015 and it was so good I had to upgrade to get the full display and the additional Watts. Recommended with My Eyes Closed!!!

Been only two weeks so I guess I am still breaking it in a bit. So far, great. Added a lot of “musicality” to my collection of CDs, LPs and streaming, plus depth to Blu-rays. Coming off a pricey and powerful Yamaha Aventage A3050 so this 7015 had a lot of pressure on it. Still it is bettering my favorite Yamaha by good measure. Only difficulty is learning a new set of adjustments. Sound program Audyssey is only a bit better than YPAO that Yamaha employs. Requiring a lot of tweaking but that is part of the fun. None of these programs like subs, it seems. I’m 72 and still like LOUD rock from the 60s, 70s and 80s along with the smooth likes of an Acker Bilk. And then there’s my ever growing Blu-Ray and 4K disc collection. So far Best Buy has done me a favor. — 7.2.4 system. Marantz driving a pair of MartinLogan Motion 40i and a 50XTI center, 4 Sonance in-wall surrounds and rears and 4 Klipsch in-ceiling speakers. SVS’ SB4000 and SB3000 do the grunt work without breaking a sweat. Emotiva 7-channel external amp is at the heart of it all. But the Marantz 7015 is the brains and it’s smart enough to take on any task I’ve fed it.

So far so good, I love it. I had an SC-07 so it was time for an upgrade, no regrets as of yet. Had it for a month now, noticed the price jump $250 smh

I bought this receiver to pair with my Bowers & Wilkin 600 anniversary series (in ceiling) speakers because my previous Pioneer AVR just didn't deliver the power or punch I felt these speaker required. Also, whenever I watch any streaming server the B&W's would pop going from show to show. Once I set the Marantz up it lit up my speakers. The sound was clear, concise and POWERFUL! Whether listening to music, watching TV or a Blu-ray\4K disc this AVR delivers. So glad I spent the extra $ and upgraded to the Marantz. My Best Buy Tech, Matt, was instrumental in pointing me towards this receiver, and I couldn't be happier!

Best in class sound, easy to set up and use, highly flexible with multiple options for audio nerds like me who get real picky about dumb stuff like full range front channel pre-outs for sub connecton instead of basic sub/LFE outs. B&W 6 series speakers, Monster Z3 reference cables, OPPO SACD / BD, and Xbox X. Christened with Top Gun and it sounds great.

Hooked up to a pair definitive technology bo9080x towers and cs-9080 center on the first zone. Second zone had a pair of in wall ceiling sonance 8” speakers. Marantz is know for their quality and this does not let you down. I’m impressed. I upgraded from the sr5015 and difference is night and day!!! I highly recommend this receiver for sound quality.

Was on the fence between the SR8015 and the SR7015. The 7015 had everything I needed and more. Easy to set up and calibrate with onscreen steps. So many speaker configurations. Dolby Atmos together with Dolby Vision is an amazing experience. Bluetooth speaker hand-off is great and the app makes it all super easy to use.

Powerful receiver. Will fill the speakers( and room) with power and precision. .Must use top quality speaker system.. I am using Bowers and Wilkins 600 series and it sounds full and warm...Excellent choice for rock and roll music...

Great Amplifier. Not sure that Audessy is any good but, after I dialed it in manually, it sounds wonderful. Hooked it up to home assistant very quickly. It looks very nice. The interface is well thought out. The Auro 3D Sounds nice. I use it often instead of Dolby.

Great sound , really pushes my Klipsch reference premier speakers to sound full and vibrant. Connectivity is all working as intended. I look forward to testing hdmi 2.1 once the new Xbox is released.

Absolutely love this receiver. It does everything I wanted it to do and more right out of the box. Shut up was easy, very intuitive. I use it for multiple zones. Tuning the sound quality and levels over the Marantz app and playing over HEOS couldn’t be easier.

This receiver is insane in every single way. Easy to use with great sound and clarity. Couldn't imagine a better product.
