But in my opinion as a speaker for the price they are asking I did imagine it would have the ability to be louder than it is. From 10-60% it is quiet enough that if people are talking it drowns out the sound of the speaker almost entirely. Even maxed out, while loud, its not as loud as I expected. Seems kind of odd for a 300$ speaker, but perhaps my expectations were a bit off. As a countertop speaker in the kitchen, which is what I am using it for, it does look really nice. I just wished it had the capability to be louder.
