I scooped this on an open box deal when it went on sale so i am satisfied with the product. But, honestly at the full retail price i rhink the sound profile is just not at rhe same level as the 2023 HomePod. I have both, and while the Marshall wins in the looks department, the HomePod wins in sound and functionality. I use the Marshall as a PC speaker exclusivley, the bass is just not present when it needs to be, so I wouldn’t use for a daily driver speaker. I live in a stufio apartment for referrence so it doednt take a lot of bass to hit max acceptable levels here - the Marshall just doesn’t do it.

It’s a great speaker but has one noticed defect…it completely cuts off for few seconds if you stream music from Apps like Apple Music etc., when ever you turn the volume up or down using phone screen volume slider. Better go with Acton III do not have this issue. Overall one speaker goes all the way for any events like get together or parties etc., its very loud and feels that thumping bass even do not have any subwoofer etc.,…feels premium construction and high quality Marshall sound.

Good speaker, there is a bit of a delay if you change the volume on the bluetooth device. Sometime it randomly raises the volume

Nice sound. Picks up Bluetooth from my phone when another person is trying to connect though

It's the worst BT speaker I have ever purchased. The sound is mushy and dead. My tiny and ancient Sony SRS X3 is far superior. This is not Marshall-quality electronics. The app does not work on my phone (Android 11), but the versions of Android that do are not specified anywhere. I thought possibly adjusting the sound through the app might clean this thing up despite the fact I would not use it with a phone but I can't even try. I bought this thing because it is wired and intended to use it in the house. I don't need a battery for stationary use, and I thought this would eliminate having to charge constantly. I did not intend to use it with my phone, but I wanted to give it a fair chance. However, the app does not work, so the sound cannot be cleaned up. My primary use was intended to be PC or TV, but it stinks with both. The voice is almost intelligible, and the music simply sounds dead, with no clarity at all, regardless of where the bass and treble are set. I would not recommend this product to anyone. I taught sound physics for over 15 years before I retired and know what I am talking about.

Amazing sound. Good enough to fill your apartment with incredible bass.
