Awesome speaker !

Disappointed

The clarity of this speaker at low volume was ok but when you turned it up it did not perform well and was kind of distorted. Way too much money for that kind of quality. Also you have to be plugged in to use it. Not truly portable in that you have to have a power source at all times

Posted .Hello, thank you for your review. Sounds like you need a bigger speaker with more output capabilities. The Homeline speakers (Acton, Stanmore and Woburn models) are not portable models, they all need to be plugged in to a power source in order to function.

Posted .Hello there, thanks for your review. Did you play with the treble, bass and volume settings for your preferred listening use? We listen to Podcasts in the office on our Acton II Bluetooth speaker all of the time, it sounds great. Don't hesitate to take your speaker into a store near you to discuss the setup with a store representative.
