Customers are saying

Customers appreciate the Emberton II's exceptional sound quality, citing its clarity, balanced audio across frequencies, and surprisingly loud volume for its size. The long battery life and convenient portability are also frequently praised, making it ideal for travel and various settings. Many users highlight the speaker's pleasing design and robust water resistance. While some find the weight substantial, this is generally viewed positively as it prevents movement during use.

This speaker was super easy to connect to via Bluetooth, has a great sound, classy look and feel, and I still haven’t had to recharge it after several sessions of usage. I feel this speaker is a perfect companion for my photo shoots and helps set a great mood when wanting to jam out and get fired up. I hope I can get another one simply to make use of the pairing functionality!

This is one of the best Bluetooth speakers out there in this size category and price range. I also have the first gen Bose SoundLink Flex, which is also a great speaker. Both the Flex and the Emberton have their strong points. The Emberton has 360° sound which makes the listening experience more immersive with its incredible soundstage. Plus the Battery life on the Emberton II is much better than the Flex. Also, you gotta love the looks of the Emberton. I know many people prefer to have speakers with microphones, I could not care less about this feature. I am very selective and picky about sound quality. I have purchased and returned many Bluetooth speakers over the years that just didn't make the cut, and I still own Bluetooth speakers from Klipsch, Sony, and Harman Kardon, in addition to the Bose and Marshall brands. Remember what Jan Brady used to say, "Marshall, Marshall, Marshall!" Just get it, especially since it's currently on sale for $99 - it's an easy choice and you won't regret it!

Love the sound quality and looks of this speaker. This was my second one so I could use the stack mode, and I’m very impressed how the sound fills a large room. Stack mode can be a little annoying to sync up, but worth the effort. Also, great battery life and very durable.

This is the best bluetooth speaker that I've owned. I love the look, feel and exceptional sound. Super extended battery life. Appears and sounds made of superior quality just like a real Marshall amplifier. Highly recommended.

I've had my eye on the Marshall brand for some time now and I finally pulled the trigger with this Bluetooth speaker and I'm happy I did! First of all, the look and feel of the speaker are solid! It's small but packs a punch! Sound and the bass are amazing! Highly recommended!

Bass wise, this is a powerful little speaker. I bought it September 2024 and I've used it almost every day since so the longevity is there. I do wish that it was a bit louder, but the sound is great for its size. The charge could last a bit longer as well.

    Amazing Gift for Music Lovers

This speaker is the perfect gift for any music lover. The sound is incredibly punchy with great bass, and it gets surprisingly loud for such a small, compact size. Despite its portability, the audio quality doesn’t disappoint—it’s crisp, rich, and fills the room easily. On top of that, the design looks and feels premium, making it feel like a high-end piece of tech. It’s an impressive combination of performance and style—definitely a worthwhile investment.

This little speaker packs a big punch. I bought it for my office, but it outperforms the speakers that my employees use downstairs. It also stays charged for a long time and it's portability is so convenient.

Jekyll & Hyde Speaker. Good low vol, poor high vol

Before getting to the Jekyll & Hyde sound this speaker gives you, I'll cover the other aspects. We'll start with the build quality of this speaker. The speaker itself is very well made and has a good weight to it for a smaller speaker. The rubbery type feel has a leather-type pattern to it, which looks nice. The metal grille on both front and back looks very stylish. It really does look the part of a quality speaker to justify the price tag. It would look great sitting on a desk, in a den or man cave. This speaker is supported by the Marshall app. The app itself is very basic. There is an EQ option, but it's just 3 pre-set configurations, one of which is really only good for stuff like podcasts. The default EQ is really the best option, so not much use for the app unless you are waiting to use more than one of these wireless in what they refer to as "stack" mode. Sound wise, this is where the speaker is Jekyll & Hyde. At lower to medium volume, the speaker sounds fairly smooth with a nice little bump to the bass for a small speaker. This isn't a very loud speaker, so as you turn it up to about 75-80% or more, this is where Mr. Hyde shows himself. At higher volume levels the bass disappears and the upper treble gets very bright. At max volume this speaker sounds quite harsh and really lacking in bass. It's pretty much not enjoyable at max volume. So in the end, if you need a speaker to just listen at lower levels, this speaker sounds pretty nice and looks fantastic. It does have a driver and passive radiator on both front and back, which means you don't get the full force of the sound pointing at you no matter how you position it. Best to sit it on a corner to let the sound shoot front and back to also get a boost in the bass output from being in the corner. But if you want something you can crank up in a small or medium room, this might give cause to call the police and report there has been a violent assault on your ears.

This little unit was marvelous to have for my garden party. It played my online playlist with great fidelity. It is easy to change the volume or pause the sound right from the speaker. The battery is good too. I may buy another one because I like it so much!

Great speaker! Very loud and has a long lasting battery life. I haven’t dropped it yet but it does feel very protected. I loved my first one so much I had to get another! It is a bit on the pricey side but I don’t care it’s an absolute unit of a speaker!

I’ve been using the JBL Charge 5 for some time now in my USPS mail truck. I was very pleased with it. Until it just conked out. (Probably from from overuse lol.) I was all set to pick up another one but a friend mentioned how well he liked Marshall products. I’ve never owned anything from Marshall but was willing to give it a try. Afterall the price tag was almost the same. I have to tell you that I was pleasantly surprised. That’s a lot of music coming from such a small speaker. And most importantly, the sound is amazing! Dare I say, I think this Emberton II sounds better than the Charge 5. Buy it. You’ll be pleased.
