I had full faith in the IP67 water-resistant rating, but the moment I sprinkled water to wipe out the dust, one speaker gave out. I didn't even bother returning it because I ordered it online and didn't want to hear any nonsense about how they can't return a damaged online order. Overall, the speaker is amazing, but just don't pour water on it AT ALL like what my stpd @## did

I wanted to love this speaker so much based on it's clever design and a very well established company like Marshall. Sadly they didn't quite hit like I wanted. The low end was pretty flat for what I like and the lack of EQ in the app was a big negative for me. The other negative was that the sound only came from either the front or back end. Not surrounding like the cylindrical design of JBL or UE. I ended up exchanging the Emberton 2 for the JBL Charge 5 and am far happier with that purchase. It has the ability to EQ and has that clean low end I am looking for. I would sadly not recommend the Marshall Emberton 2 to others.

HI Robert, thanks for your review. Android 14 isn't able to support a Bluetooth connection with both the app and the Marshall product at the same time, however, this issue was fixed in Android 15. If possible, please update your Android device to Android 15 to be able to enjoy the full experience of the speaker and the Marshall Bluetooth app.

Much better than Emberton 1. Same design and marketing so be careful to ensure you are purchasing the item you want as prices are the same even though this has app connectivity and Emberton 1 does not

If it had little more bass it would be perfect. But for podcast and and heavy vocal base audio it crushes.

For a smaller speaker this thing does what it needs to and does it well. Is it going to have booming base and mids? Probably not, its a very small speaker and your standards are more than likely extremely unrealistic. Plain talk : for what this product is it does a great job and is worth the money. If you only like to hear 10% of the sound of the music (the bass) then by all means look for a bigger speaker.

Hi Sugene, thank you for your review and feedback. It's great to hear that you are enjoying the Emberton II. Stacking the speakers works well when the speakers are located close to each other in the same room and any possible interference is removed. For assistance, don't hesitate to reach out to the Marshall Support Team on the official Marshall website.

The Marshall Emberton III Portable Bluetooth Speaker impresses with its blend of vintage aesthetic, powerful sound, and modern features, making it an excellent choice for both audiophiles and casual listeners alike. Design: One of the standout features of the Emberton III is its iconic Marshall design, inspired by classic guitar amps. The textured vinyl exterior, brass accents, and the signature Marshall logo give it a timeless, rugged appeal. It’s both stylish and durable, with an IP67 water and dust resistance rating, meaning it’s built to withstand the elements. It’s relatively compact and light, making it easy to carry around. The front and back metal grilles offer protection while enhancing the speaker’s cool retro look. Sound Quality: Despite its small size, the Emberton III delivers an impressively full and balanced sound. Marshall’s True Stereophonic technology ensures a 360-degree listening experience, which means the sound doesn’t diminish when moving around. Bass is punchy without being overwhelming, and mids and highs are crisp, ensuring vocal clarity and instrumental details. Whether playing rock, pop, or classical music, this speaker maintains quality without distortion, even at higher volumes. Battery Life: The battery life is one of the highlights, offering up to 30 hours of playtime on a single charge, which is more than enough for extended outdoor use or weekend getaways. It also features quick charging capabilities—20 minutes of charging provides around 4 hours of playback, making it ideal for those who are always on the move. Connectivity: The Emberton III supports Bluetooth 5.1, providing a stable connection up to 30 feet away. Pairing with devices is fast and simple, and the speaker remembers previously connected devices for quick re-pairing. However, it lacks an aux input or other wired options, which could be a drawback for users who prefer that versatility. Drawbacks: While the speaker performs well in many areas, it does have a few minor limitations. The lack of a dedicated app for customization means you cannot adjust the EQ settings to suit your preferences, leaving you to rely on your device’s native controls. Additionally, while the 360-degree sound is impressive, it may not fill very large spaces as effectively as bigger speakers would. Verdict: The Marshall Emberton III combines excellent sound quality, long battery life, and durable design in a portable package. Its retro aesthetic will appeal to Marshall fans and design-conscious consumers alike, while its rich, immersive sound ensures it stands out among other portable Bluetooth speakers in its price range. If you’re looking for a speaker that balances style, performance, and portability, the Emberton III is a solid choice.

A few months ago one of my close relatives purchased the earlier version of this Marshall BT speaker and ever since I heard the big sound coming out such as a small speaker, I wanted to get one too. I finally got the opportunity to own the latest version of the Marshall Emberton II bluetooth speaker and it does not disappoint. It packs a solid punch for its cute size, with solid bass and clear mids and highs even at loud volumes. It paired with my phone very easily and it maintains the bluetooth connection throughout the house, even on different floors. The design is classic Marshall looks tapping back into their guitar amps heritage with a rugged enclosure and grill. The controls are intuitive with a golden flat joystick-like button that controls volume up and down, and next track right and previous track left. If you press and hold in the middle that turns the power on/off, with a cool guitar sound. Thanks to its small size and reasonably light weight, it’s great for travel. I can’t wait to take it on our next trip to the beach where it’ll be just fine thanks to it’s IP67 dust and water resistance rating. Battery life so far is great and when listening at lower levels it should exceed 30 hours when fully charged. The quick 20-min charge will get you a few hours of listening pleasure. All in all, this is a great sounding compact and stylish portable bluetooth speaker.

Hello Bhushan, thanks for your review and feedback. We'd love to know more about what was missing for you, maybe a larger speaker that is capable of delivery higher audio would be more suitable?
