This speaker looks nice and has great sound. I also got a carry case to keep it looking good and will probably get a silicone case to go with it when I want to carry it around when I do outdoor activities. Sync up was easy and straightforward.

For years I have seen Marshall produce a collection of great looking Bluetooth speakers! They’re attractive and the few I have listened to at best buy showrooms (acton, stanmore, Middleton) have been pretty impressive. I wanted something new to replace my older JBL speaker (flip 5) and thought the emberton was a good alternative. I was convinced that this was the perfect replacement because of the many reviews I read/ Marshall advertising about “Marshall signature sound / true stereophonic”. Upon unboxing I was impressed with the build quality and appearance of the speaker, i was sure I was going to enjoy the sound quality it was going to produce but was extremely disappointed once connected. The sound it produces is thin, bass is muffled and highs are flat. This speaker sounds like it has no punch / soul to it. I honestly cannot understand how people over at Marshall are happy with the sound this produced because it is atrocious! I really wanted to love this speaker but it is not something I can keep! This does not live up to the Marshall name!

Excellent speaker. Marshall giving it's best. This is more than enough to stand in an room full of 4-5 people and a living room with 3-4 people. Not for crowd >5 people in an open area.

Wowser!!!!! Would love to know how Marshall gets such a rich, soothing sound out of such a small speaker. I gifted one to my youngest son who is in college studying music. He takes it everywhere and other friends and classmates loved the sound and quickly realized they could pair other Emberton Speakers with it and have great music in surround sound. Amazing sound quality. It simply sells itself. You hear it, love it and have to have one.
