I didn't even bother returning it because I ordered it online and didn't want to hear any nonsense about how they can't return a damaged online order. Overall, the speaker is amazing, but just don't pour water on it AT ALL like what my stpd @## did

Good, warm-bit-defined sound profile, with a couple pre-set equalizer profiles in the east to use app. Surprisingly good at filling a medium sized room without sounding strained or flat.

Sadly they didn't quite hit like I wanted. The low end was pretty flat for what I like and the lack of EQ in the app was a big negative for me. The other negative was that the sound only came from either the front or back end. Not surrounding like the cylindrical design of JBL or UE. I ended up exchanging the Emberton 2 for the JBL Charge 5 and am far happier with that purchase. It has the ability to EQ and has that clean low end I am looking for. I would sadly not recommend the Marshall Emberton 2 to others.

Stacking the speakers works well when the speakers are located close to each other in the same room and any possible interference is removed. Is it going to have booming base and mids? Probably not, its a very small speaker and your standards are more than likely extremely unrealistic. Plain talk : for what this product is it does a great job and is worth the money. If you only like to hear 10% of the sound of the music (the bass) then by all means look for a bigger speaker.
