I’ve been using the JBL Charge 5 for some time now in my USPS mail truck. I was very pleased with it. Until it just conked out. (Probably from from overuse lol.) I was all set to pick up another one but a friend mentioned how well he liked Marshall products. I’ve never owned anything from Marshall but was willing to give it a try. Afterall the price tag was almost the same. I have to tell you that I was pleasantly surprised. That’s a lot of music coming from such a small speaker. And most importantly, the sound is amazing! Dare I say, I think this Emberton II sounds better than the Charge 5. Buy it. You’ll be pleased.

As guy who used to play the Wiskey A Go Go with a Marshal amp, I’m very impressed, big sound for little speakers. It seams to have more treble on the logo side and more bass on the other side. Has a gritty rock sound, I use it as my whole entertainment in my sprinter camper conversion and in that small it’s like surround sound. I like the tough case and have dropped it a few times with no worries. I’m planning to stack it with another. If it’s your main house speaker you might want to go bigger but if you want something small with plenty good quality sound it’s perfect!

I bought this as a present for my wife, for when she pursues her urban farming projects outside. It's totally cool, sounds great and even makes a Bluetooth-averse grump old man like me like it!

I fell in love with this little guy. Just as much as the one watt Mini Marshall guitar amp I practice on. I'm mostly it as a TV sound bar. My home theatre has virtual reality for my top of the line audio through spatial headphones. The little Marshal likes to sit on a flat table below the TV with the bottom propped up by a Hot Wheels car to enhance it's already excellent sound projection. The little passive sound projectors do work and the entire unit feels like it's audio is from three feet away from it. It's the best sounding broadcast voice speaker I've ever heard at speaking volume. It's as if somebody sits down next to you. It will fill any sized single room in a typical apartment with audio without being obnoxious but still plenty loud. With plenty of headroom on the 10 watts per channel (stereo!) to play full out clean as can be. Automotive back seat award winner. Outstanding value considering the Marshall brand is not cheap to start off with. You pay for the name and in this case, an endearing little buddy! LOVE IT

Great sound quality for small speaker. Also looks cool.

I've purchased a few bluetooth speakers for my salon suite over the years and this is by far my favorite! This little thing sounds amazing and it looks cool!

Marshall can’t be beat for the iconic name it is for every generation of music. There are tons of mini portable speakers one can buy but when you bring out the Marshall people know. I have three different levels of Marshall’s and everyone is fantastic. When they say “Marshall sound” it’s true. Too many kids today don’t know what good sound is and they only use their phone speakers of bad buds. They suffer from that bright digital listening fatigue and don’t know why. Marshall sound causes no fatigue and you can listen for ever.

Love how compact the speaker is but gives out great sound. App helps adjust the different sound types you prefer, battery last long so no complaints at all.

This is my 4th marshall product. The sound is pretty good and the quality is good. At max volume it does start to crackle a bit. Something I have not seen on my other speakers. One thing I don't like is sound comes out the front and the back. I understand the concept for middle of the room placement but a speaker this size that would just be front firing may be a better solution. So the 4 stars may be due to my preference and not the speaker itself. Having said that, I wish I would have gotten the next size up for tailgating. Based on my other marshall products I thought it would keep up with the environment even though it is small. I did keep this one as I am sure I will find a use for it.

Very full sound profile, discrete form and can fill a room

Solid built unit. Love the look and feel of it. Sounds great for being so small no distortion even at top volume great sound field and bass.

I am not a person who really cares about how something sounds. But after listening to this speaker it made the music sound so much fuller and better than other speakers i own. Which i own a few differnet brands, bose, jbl, and insignia. Not to put those brands down because they are fine as well bit this speaker actually made me dona double take the forst time i heard it. That has never happened to me before.
