Don’t buy.

Are you using the original USB-C charging cable that was included in the original packaging? Can you try to remove the silicone cover and check that it is fully inserted when you try to charge it? The battery life has only been 6 hours for me at most on a full chatge. Have no idea how ppl are getting 20 hours from it

Posted .Thank you for your review. The Emberton does have quite a high SPL for it's size, but it is still quite a small but mighty speaker for it's size. For your purposes I would recommend either the Kilburn II or Tufton speaker, to get the loud experience with a portable speaker. This one does not connect to the Emberton app. Design and Best Buy marketing is the same so be careful when purchasing to ensure you are selecting the correct model

The Emberton is the smallest of the Portable models, try the biggest one - the Tufton.

Died in less than three months

I bought this as a gift and was mortified when I was told by the recipient that just over two months after he received it, it completely died. Because I relied on the manufacture's warranty and passed on the Geek Squad warranty, it was actually cheaper for me to buy a new speaker (and better one) for cheaper than it would have been for me to pay to send the dead speaker to Marshall.

Doesn't feel like it has bass. Could be better. Perfect if you set it next to you like a desk

Trash reception and quietest speaker ive owned

It’s probably fine that your phone cuts our any farther than 6 because you wouldnt be able to hear it anyways. I think my JBL flip 1 was a better purchase and it was $100 in 2012. Marshall should be embarrassed to have their name on this profuct. The sound quality is also subpar and distorts at 1/2 volume on music that are heavy in guitar and drums

Waste of Money

Bought it in July 2021 and now in May 2022 every sound I play from it comes with static. Never dropped it and has no water damage.
