Terrible!! Stopped working in under a week. Never connected with Bluetooth correctly. Such a disappointment. Although, looks cool.

A little bit bigger & heavier than most portable speakers, but the (removable) carrying handle makes up for it and the retro look is very cool! Your music is easily accessible using the super-fast Bluetooth connection or any 3.5mm audio cable (not included); separate treble & bass controls and the built-in bass port make any genre sound great too! Overnight battery charging is recommended, but afterwards you can listen all day long. Great for any time you're away from your stereo... Beach bonfire, picnic in the park, backyard BBQ, pool side. ENJOY!!!

Great while it lasted. But what’s the point if it stops working within months. Pretty sure I was using it right since it was just sitting in a corner.

Easy to pair and set up. Great sound for such a compact speaker. Only issue I've had with it is that it's bass heavy. Had to turn the bass all the way down and the treble all the way up. Because I only had one item with which to pair the Marshall, I did not feel that merited a reduction in the overall rating.

Great looking speaker. Love the physical dials and leather handle with soft lining. Sounds great.

It seems like everybody is offering a Bluetooth enabled speaker these days, but this one caught my eye, pleased my ear and tugged at my heart a bit! The Marshall Kilburn II portable speaker is designed to look like a miniature, old-school Marshall guitar amplifier! It is about the size of a lunchbox with a premium leather strap and very simple controls and operation. Syncing via Bluetooth to my Samsung phone was accomplished via a simple press of a button and the unit offers plenty of volume and bass even outdoors on our patio. Marshall claims 20 hours of battery life. I haven't actually run it that long but there is a visual indicator bar that gives you battery status at a glance and we haven't run it below half-way yet. In summary - this is a solidly built, quality product that offers very good audio performance and is easy to use. This is a cool toy that you NEED to have to rock your summer!

Overall speaker is good. If you want excellent audio quality and portability then this speaker is for you. Price range is a bit higher but can be neglected for its mobility. If you don’t want to move your speaker around there are many home theater systems which provides better sound quality and better price range than this.

So this item wasn’t really for me but for my boyfriend, I got it for him for Christmas and he absolutely loves it!! The sound is amazing and honestly worth every penny

The first thing I noticed about the Kilburn Portable Bluetooth Speaker besides was the weight and size of the speaker. If you are looking for a truly portable bluetooth speaker, you probably wouldn’t want to lug this around with you to the beach or a picnic. Given the size and weight, I expected a speaker that would blow me away with its power, but that wasn’t the case. I found the sound to be a bit tinnier than I expected. The bass was not very strong even when I turned the dial all the way up. When I did turn it all the way up, it sounded muffled. One of the other things I look for in a Bluetooth speaker is how it performs at lower volumes. In that respect it performed very well. I found that when I used this speaker for background music, it was clear and sharp but there are many speaker options that will give you that kind of performance at half the size and a lower price. The bottom line is that if you like the nostalgic look of this speaker, then you may not mind it’s below par performance for the price. But if you want a great sounding speaker with some power that is easy to carry around with you, there are probably better options out there for you to consider.
