Posted .Hi Jessica, thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that the Major IV are a bit tight for you: you can release the clamping pressure by stretching the headband out a bit. Sit them on a basketball overnight or carefully use your hands to stretch out the headband, but make sure to not have your hands on the hinges. Reach out to the Marshall Support Team if you need assistance with how to do so.

Posted .Thank you for your review. I am sorry that you are having some issues with the clamping pressure. The headphones are designed with most ear shapes and sizes in mind. One solution might be stretch the headband over a sports ball for a moderate amount of time to reduce the inward pressure to alleviate ear pain and pressure points.

We are sorry to hear that you are disappointed with your Major IV, have you had a chance to head back into the store and discuss this with an agent from Best Buy? If you aren't satisfied with the sound of the Major IV, have you tried the Monitor II ANC? The Noise Cancellation and the over-ear fit may be better suited to your preferences.

1. Power off the headphones
2. Press and hold the brass button until the LED turns deep blue (The LED will come on white at first - Keep holding!)
3. Open the Bluetooth menu on your device
4. Connect to the headphones.

Sound good, comfort horrible

Posted .Hello, sorry that you are finding the headphones to be too tight. It is possible to relieve the clamping pressure by stretching the headband: place your hands at either end of the headband (NOT on the hinges or on the ear pieces) and stretch your hands away from each other, gently stretching the headband. It may be necessary to repeat this process multiple times until you find the perfect fit for you.
Please note, stretch at your own risk: any damage that occurs in this process is not considered a manufacturing defect and is not covered by the warranty.
