I bought these headphones right before traveling back home to Brazil. I was so disappointed as they were new out of the box, didn´t work and I only realized once I was at the airport. Aside from traveling without headphones I wasted my money and will never buy best buy again.

The more I use these headphones the more I like them! They are easily the most comfortable over ear headphones I have ever used. The pressure against the ears is just perfect, not too tight and not too loose that they slide around. I have worn them while working on the computer for 6-8 hours a day several times now and not once did I feel like I needed a break from them. I can also easily wear them while laying in bed and they do not slide backwards and off my ear. I also noticed that along with being able to wear these headphones for long periods of time, the battery life can keep up with the usage as well and has exceeded my expectations. They seem to charge very quickly thanks to the usb-c charging port, and it seems like after hours of use at a medium volume, the battery percentage barely drops. I am really impressed that along with the comfort and battery life, these headphones sound great. They have a very rich sound and I have zero complaints about it. I've noticed many headphones on the market have so many sound options and features that they tend to distort music so much that it doesn't even sound like the song anymore. But these are not doing anything crazy to change the sound, it is just producing the sound really really well. The base and treble sound spot on, and I don't notice any lacking in vocals. Both music and movies sound fantastic. I also love the one button control and all the things it can do in one small joystick. Volume and song change adjustments are very easy. I'm glad these headphones do not have any hidden touch pad areas that tend to get bumped by mistake, changing your song or volume. The control is very simple but it easily does everything you need. Overall, Marshall knocked it out of the park with these headphones and I love them. These are well worth the money and I'd recommend them to anyone looking for high quality bluetooth headphones.

I have been using the new Marshall Major IV's for the last couple of days and I must say I am very impressed. The build quality of the headphones appears to be exceptional. They are very light weight and fit very well. The ear pads are soft and not at all fatiguing to wear after several hours. I paired these with my computer, Android phone and 65" 4K TV in my bedroom and all paired quickly and performed as expected. I particularly like using these when connected to the TV as it allows my wife to sleep without disturbing her. Allow these do not have active noise cancelling I did not notice any excessive outside noise when listening and my wife did not hear any sound from them when I was using them. As for sound quality they are very impressive. Depending on the source material they have very good highs and midrange and the low end is strong and blends well. They will not blow your head off with the bass but it is more than sufficient. I am a little biased as I collect Hi Rez surround sound music and have a little different point of reference when it comes to sub woofers but I will say these headphones do a really good job especially the imaging of the sound. I will admit these are my first pair of wireless headphones and I am sure there are other features someone may want but for the price these are well worth the investment. By the way they are really cool looking too. I only wished that Marshall made a branded hard case for these to store them in.

Marshall a leading brand in Rock n Roll since 1962 has added to their legacy with the Marshall - Major IV Bluetooth Headphone with wireless charging. 80+ charge life is unheard of but I can with all honesty say that Marshall wasn't blowing smoke with that claim. Wireless charging is the other biggie take away with the Marshall headphones. As if that wasn't enough, the comfort of the headphones is very comfy. All of that gee wiz tech doesn't mean anything if the sound isn't great. The Marshall - Major IV Bluetooth Headphone with wireless charging does not disappoint. The eq is adjusted through the Marshall Bluetooth app, available at both app sites. Speaking of the app, setup took less than 5 minutes and works flawlessly. Whether you're a fan of Jazz, Hip Hop, Classical or just want to Rock out the Marshall - Major IV Bluetooth Headphone with wireless charging is for you. Cheers!

I consider myself an audio enthusiast and aficionado. Not just any earbuds, headphones, or speakers will do. I've either tried or owned outright dozens of sets of in-ear, on-ear, and over-the-ear audio solutions ranging in price from $10 to $700+. I need you to understand this because I need you to know that that is where I'm coming from when I say what's next. I am incredibly surprised and delighted by the Marshall Major IV wireless bluetooth headphones. Seriously. I did not expect what these deliver, and CERTAINLY not at the $150 price point. I'll do my best to break down one key point per paragraph. First, I need to mention my personal form factor preference. I am an over-the-ear guy through and through. As someone who wears glasses, on-ear headphones always hurt after a while due to the arms of my glasses being sandwiched between my ear and head. The Major IVs are the first on-ears I've had where this isn't an issue, and I say this having worn them for longer periods of time than I normally do. I'm not sure how Marshall managed to pull this off, but I'm glad they did. If you've not used on-ears for a while and are thinking about going back for whatever reason, give these a shot. The next thing I want to talk about is build quality. The Major IVs, like other offerings from Marshall, are very well designed and all materials feel premium. This makes for a device whose build quality feels right up there with nearly any other headphones I've ever owned. I'm interested to see how they would hold up for several years on end, but I'm fairly certain they would do quite well. Next I'll talk about audio quality. These things are in a word, fantastic. Like really really REALLY fantastic. Not only do you get thick rich lows, smooth buttery midranges, and bright clear highs, but the details or minutiae of just about every recording I listened to really came through. There were tracks I've listened to for years on all of my other personal audio equipment where I actually noticed something I'd never heard before. For instance, in Samuel Barber's Adagio for Strings there is a moment of complete silence. In my favorite recording, which is one I often use to test new equipment, I noticed for the first time that in that silence one of the cellists ever so slightly grazes a string. I've been listening to that recording for the better part of 15 years on different audio equipment and I've never noticed that before. I attribute it to the level of detail the Major IVs produce. I'm sure I've "heard" it before, but my brain probably just wrote it off as random ambient noise and not something so specific. I know this seems like it should be a small thing, but for someone serious about audio, this was huge for me. It had me listening to as much of my library as I possibly could to see what other little bits here and there I'd missed over the years. (Spoiler. There were many). Next up is battery life. Whoa! OK, I know that these are brand new headphones so they'll be at their best in terms of battery life, but I've grown frustrated trying to get these things to die. Since charging them up for the first time I've literally kept them playing music every waking moment, even if they're not actually on my head. That's 18ish hours a day for 3+ days now. They are still going. Marshall says you'll get 80 hours on a charge and it certainly looks like that will be the case. Now on to controls. The multidirectional power and control knob works very well for me. I prefer a single multifunction control to multiple buttons and/or switches because it greatly simplifies use. In my testing, I was very happy with how the Major IVs performed. Even while in motion adjustments felt smooth and natural. Well done there Marshall. Last up is charging. I had my reservations about whether or not wireless charging was truly viable for these. They're sizable and have to rest on a charging pad seems like it might be too much of a balancing act. I'm happy to report, however, that I had no problems. I will say that they did get a little warm while sitting on my wireless charger, so I am probably going to use the included usb-c cable going forward, but that's really just me being paranoid. I like these so much I want to keep them in as great shape as I can for as long as I can. Wireless charging is cool and convenient, but the fact remains that it definitely will decrease the overall lifespan of your batteries. In closing, I'd like to add one more tidbit. For the last 5+ years now, no matter what other gear I've had on hand, my daily driver / take everywhere headphones have been my Bose AE2W over-ear bluetooth headphones. As much as I've liked others, none of them seemed to have everything I wanted in one package and did it all reasonably well. It is with somewhat of a heavy heart now that I pass those trust AE2Ws on to another lucky family member. The Major IVs are just that good. P.S. I forgot to mention the cool dual function for wired use! Marshall includes a very nice coiled 3.5mm audio cable for use with the headphones for wired listening should you not want to use bluetooth for some reason. The really cool part is that you can also connect another set of wired headphones to the audio jack on the Major IVs and the bluetooth audio source that is playing back on your headphones will also play on the wired set. That is SUPER handy for things like watching a movie or television show with a friend during a commute or in a public place. Just for kicks, I even tested out plugging a 3.5mm stereo splitter cable into the MajorIV's jack and hooking up 2 sets of wired headphones. It worked perfectly. I don't know that there'd necessarily be a use case for doing that, but it's good to know that it would work if it was somehow needed.

Product is just okay. However, I’m very disappointed because the price dropped for this item and you only honored the new price for one pair of headphones even though I bought two. It’s not about the money it’s about the fact that you didn’t honor your promise. I will never shop at Best Buy again.

I have always been a believer that wired headphones were the way to go. But with the advancement of tech, it's hard to ignore the fact that devices we use no longer have the required ports to simply plug and play. However, the the Major IV is one that does supply a 3.5 adapter in case you run out of battery on the headset, which I think would be hard pressed to do. I have been using this for about a week and it's been a joy to wear and listen to. No it is not the best bluetooth headset I have, but it's pretty close to the top. The ones that take the top spot is some in ear wireless buds, but that is another product all together. For this, the comfort and usability is what I am looking for and the sound the drivers produce is very clear. Like you would expect from Marshall, this has the chops to keep up with your tunes or whatever you throw at it. The signature knob to control the headphones are an awesome touch. I love it! It's so different. Also the ability to fold it for transport is great as well, but the only drawback to that is that this kit does not come with any carrying case or pouch to put in my everyday bag. So it's currently stuck at home until I find a pouch to carry these in. Also what surprised me the most is that when using the cords to connect sounded too bland and underpowered and needed a DAC to power up the sound like it sounds with the bluetooth. I would have thought the sound would have been better with the cord alone, but was wrong in that respect. I am not going to cart around my DAC most of the time so bluetooth is the way for now. No getting back on the positive side of things, the calls I had came through without issue, people on the other end was able to hear me perfectly, but I have only been indoors. I have not tried an outdoor call as of yet. Oh I almost forgot! The charging! This is able to charge via Qi or wireless charging! Before this, some in ear cases have the ability to do this, but never have I seen a headset alone to be able to wireless charge. This is uber cool! Now besides the sounds being clear, I do wish they had a dedicated app for it to fine tune the headset but the software of my phone works somewhat. Now to the battery, this boasts 80 hours. And it's not heavy at all! 80 hours I am expecting a dense weighted headset but it is super light and comfortable to wear hours and hours at a sitting. I have used it for about a week without charging a few hours a day. Maybe 10 hours of listening to various media and it is still chugging on!! This is one of the better headsets that I like to use and pop on when I get home from work and undwind. It's a perfect set for that. For travel, until they offer a case or pouch, I wouldn't attempt it unless you are going to wear it on your person.

Best headphones available in this price range hands down! Super comfortable to wear, sit nice and softly on my ears without hurting after a while. Sound quality is top notch. Light weight. Long battery life. Solid Bass response. Very low distortion at loud volumes. No listener fatigue even after hours of jamming out. Easily sound much better than way pricier headphones, and more comfortable to wear also. The battery life is amazing, can listen to them for days without needing a recharge. My new favorite pair of headphones!

As you might expect from Marshall, these headphones are geared toward musicians in a couple of ways. First off the audio quality is excellent. You are getting high quality sound with these headphones without getting any real coloration of the sound (the EQ is fairly flat, there aren’t any over-exaggerated bass hits with these headphones) which makes them excellent for hearing how music was actually recorded. You can also use these wired or over Bluetooth, so you can connect them directly to your computer or audio interface if you are listening to music or recording music. Plus, with 80 hours of battery life, you can probably go for weeks without charging them (I’ve gone for 2 weeks and still have about 50% battery remaining). Another way you can tell these are geared toward musicians is that the sounds made by the headphones when you turn them on, when they connect over Bluetooth, or when you use the controls, are all guitar sounds or short riffs. It is a really nice touch for a company known for their guitar amplifiers and speaker cabinets. As for the comfort if you’ll wear them for hours on end, I’d say you’re good. I usually find on-ear headphones a little uncomfortable and very uncomfortable after an hour or so. With these, I can wear them with my glasses (which have heavy side pieces) without issue. There is a little discomfort from having the pressure on the ear after about 4-5 hours, but that could also just be me. These are definitely the most comfortable on-ear headphones I’ve tried. These are some excellent headphones, and could make a great gift for the music-lover in your life (particularly a guitarist).

The Marshall IV headphones design are by far the most comfortable headphones I’ve ever used. I am usually in pain after using headphones due to the fact that the pressure on my earlobe from wearing glasses and wearing headphones isn’t the best combo, BUT the Marshall is a game changer and I’m quite the happy camper. The style and pattern of the design is sleek and I love it. The delicate softness surrounding my ear is remarkable. I love that this headphone can be used wirelessly as well as plugged in. The included wire allows for you to share your tunes with someone by allowing them to plug one side of the wire into their headset as the other end is plugged into your Marshall IV headset. The easy to use gold knob on the right side of the headphone is simple to use and reacts rather quickly. To me base is everything but that’s where I find the Marshall IV falls short. Connectivity to bluetooth was an issue with some iphones within the household. Some picked up on the Marshall right away while others never could pair up. Lots of troubleshooting went into it but no solution was found. Got the The Marshall bluetooth app but that wasn’t functional. The design for storing and folding the headphones is great and protects the ear pieces. The wireless charging capabilities are an excellent feature but I can’t attest to it since I don’t have a wireless charger.

I was a little worried about the "on-ear" type ear cups being uncomfortable, but man was I wrong. These are the most comfortable headphones I've ever owned (and that is saying something). The sound rivals my $350 Bose phones. I really can't detect a difference. I also love the convenience of being able to charge with a charging pad, or you can use USB-c. No need for another cable / charger. Controls are very simple. No learning curve. The knob is in the perfect spot and works how you would expect. Works great with Google Assistant. I've worn these so much more and for longer than any other headphones due to the great sound, comfort, and super long lasting battery. There's also no chance of one falling out, like what often happened with my Earpods. I've worn them mowing the lawn, shop work with loud heavy machinery, workouts, runs, long walks, flights. I run my office blue tooth through them and wear them for hours on end at the office. The microphone is amazing. Callers say it's better than my phone. You won't catch me without them. One of the best buys out there. I've been a Marshall fan for many years and have very high expectations from anything carrying the Marshall name. The Major IV did not let me down. The quick guitar riff you hear on power up, power down, and bluetooth connect is just another of many cool features of these headphones. Great job again Marshall.
