I was looking for a mid size Bluetooth speaker to supplement my Jawbone brand speaker that's a few years old. This Marshall speaker gets louder than I'll ever need, sounds excellent, and looks fantastic. I've always loved the classic look of Marshall amps and this is a great way to bring that look into my home in a functional way. I'm very happy overall with my purchase.

Great sound quality and versatility with supporting bluetooth, aux, and rca connections (red and white). Supports aptx which is basically a better sounding protocol than your basic bluetooth protocol. And the speaker sounds even better than standard bluetooth when using aptx. Can get very loud for its medium speaker size.

The Marshall stanmore is a home run. Amazing sound quality. Unlike the kilmore it is not a portable speaker. But it's quite easy to make it portable with a 400w car power inverter. It's like having a dj sound system in your house or car. Best purchase ever.

I just needed a Bluetooth speaker with a little bit more umph than my JBL Charge. Boy! Did I get more than I bargained for!!! This is almost as good as my studio monitors, nah, but the power is amazing!!! It looks legit in my built-in bookshelf. Buy it, you will not be disappointed.

Wish I would've bought this sooner. Love the vintage look. The sound is amazing. Very easy to connect via Bluetooth. Connects in a split second once set up. Love the standby mode so it doesn't have to be turned on and off for each use. Highly recommend!!

After trying smaller bluetooth speakers I saw this one and was imnedietely attracted to the classic rock look then I went to a bbq party where they were using one outside and was blown away by the sound. Real bass and can go super load. A piece of actual sound equipment.

Contemplated this speaker for quite a while, caught it on sale. Wish I had bought it sooner. It simply rocks. Great full spectrum sound, punchy bass. Loud. Very well built. Should last a long time. I am very, very happy with this purchase.

This speaker is the bees-nees! I have gone through many portable speakers and wanted something more. The quality of sound is crisp and the bass is thumping without distortion. I did a sound comparison with the Stanmore and several other brands. It came down to the Marshall Stanmore 2 and the Harmon Kardon Onyx Studio 3. The Harmon does not allow customization for the treble and bass settings. At top volume there is substantial distortion in sound quality. The distortion and the difference in volume is what made me choose the Stanmore. You just can't great that sound! Plus it doubles as an amp! You can throw a block party with this speaker! It's really awesome!

When it comes to music, I've always preferred headphones with amp and or DAC. However, it can be inconvenient for me when I can't just sit down but would like to listen to music without too much of a compromise on audio quality. The Stanmore fulfills my need in my little office. The sound fills the room and I'm quite surprised with how well it works with other genres of music. It looks very good as a decor, too! Plus, it works very well with Chromecast Audio; making listening to music easier than ever. While it won't replace my preferred way of listening to music, this speaker has become a great accessory to my daily life.

This speaker is awesome! Great sound, easy to connect with Bluetooth, and a vintage look! Only down side--must be plugged in. But it works perfectly in our house. We have it in our basement and you can hear it clearly upstairs! Love it!

excellent sound, perfect design, deep bass and great treble, good choice if you want to hear your favorite classic rock bands, the sound is clear and loud, works great for outdoor if you have a plug to conect.

The speaker fells very solid when you take it out of the box which is always a good sign. The classic Marshall look goes well in pretty much any room in the house. I'm very pleased with the sound quality and volume. I don't usually go above 3 or 4 in the volume settings and it is enough for a big living room. One star less because they removed the optical input option.

This speaker sounds amazing! Compared to others in the same price range, this out performs them all. This isn't truly portable, nor does it have a built in battery, but it makes up for it with superior sound quality. I listened to every Bluetooth portable speaker, and there was no comparison. You can pair two speakers for stereo sound. These speakers are for folks who care about sound quality, not name or visual recognition. And no, the volume does NOT go up to 11, but otherwise it looks like a small,'piggyback' style Marshall amp.

I was looking for something with good sound quality, portable, and lo could get very loud and stay clear. I went with this and really like it! The design is icing on the cake.

Looking for a slightly larger portable speaker than my Sony soundblock. This blows it away. So tempted to get the bigger speaker, but portablility was important as well. Love the sound.

Excellent sound and responsive when adjusting treble and bass controls. Blue tooth and the ability to connect to a record player make it versatile too.

My girlfiend and I went into Best Buy to purchase a bluetooth speaker for our baby shower the next day so we can provide some entertainment. We were looking around and tested some JBL speakers, some Bose speakers and a few others. Naturally, I assumed the BOSE would have been the best of what they had to offer, but then we saw the Marshall ones on the isle behind. We were blown away as to how clear and crisp the mids and highs were, not to mention the bass. This speaker not only looks like a Marshall amp and looks super cool, but for comparable speakers by the best names in this price range, it left them in the dust. We are very impressed and satisfied with our purchase. Don't buy anything else until you've tested this unit out!
